Superb value for money
Very good room with good facilities Smokey smell
Internet expensive This was a very nice hotel (serviced apartments) in a great location. The rooms were large and well stocked with fruit, toiletries and complimentary bottled water. The bed was extremely comfortable and you got a really good night's sleep. The hotel had a reasonably well equipped gym and a nice swimming pool. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall a very enjoyable experience and I would fully recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to enjoy the benefits of Bangkok.
Restaurant Tip : Try Circle O - a great American restaurant across the road.

Good Location , convenient , have many restaurants , pub , bar near by , nice room and bathroom , have many TV channel , friendly staffs I stay in studio room abit small but ok for short stay. The price not include breakfast I have a boyfriend came to visit me from KL . I thinks this hotel located in a Good Location , near Ploenchit skytrain station , convenient , have many restaurants , pub , bar near by , nice & clean room and bathroom , have many TV channel , friendly staffs , opporsit has a big hotel but have a mall inside , so can go shopping and buy things in supermarket. At the end of the street can go night market so near like 5 mins. Can ask for Late check out up to 15:00 but I leave ealier. If they have promotion I will stay again.
Restaurant Tip : Try bacchus Italian resaurant 3 mins. away . Happy hour is good .

Location - Staff - Convenient Store - Big Rooms - Huge Bathtub - Mini Bar... Room service never brings enough condiments or utensils for meals. Wi-Fi is not free. I have been staying at this hotel for 10 years now, quality has always been top notch. Rooms are clean, big, and comfortable. Staff is polite, friendly, and helpful. I really can't say anything bad about the place.
Shopping Tip : Across the street is All Seasons where you caan buy groceries to keep in your room and even prepare meals in the room.

location, friendliness, size, jacuzzi! i needed a toothbrush and the one at the shop in the hotel cost 3 times what it cost for one at 7eleven down the road i love service apts, where i feel like i'm stepping into a home rather than a hotel. I've been coming back here for 10 years and it hasn't changed. great location to zip around town on the bts to various meetings. also close to wateringholes (baccaus, circle..etc) as well as a good restaurant - curries and more.
Travel tip : the massage place at rumrudee plaza is pretty good, as well as the different bars/restaurants there as well.

The room was great: large, nice bed, well decorated, walkin closet, refrigerator, microwave, HDTV. Bathroom was also very nice, large with a big tub. Very happy with the room. Pool upstairs is nice, though be careful on the tiles surrounding the pool, they are slippery. Staff was always smiling and nice. Further from the main road than I would have liked. Wish that wireless internet was free (paid 300 baht per 24 hour use.) Would definitely recommend Chateau de Bangkok. Very nice rooms with large bathrooms. I did not do the included breakfast option, so can't speak to that. Instead I bought my own stuff and utilized the refrigerator and microwave provided. If you want to use the Skytrain, it's a bit of a walk back up to the main street, though I did it everyday and it didn't bother me. You can, of course, always have the hotel staff get you a taxi. A nice place, especially if you are going to stay more than just a couple of nights.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Take a taxi to the Night Bazaar. It's not very far away, and they have some nice restaurants and plenty of shopping stalls to keep you busy.

Perfect location, only five minutes walk to the sky train. Plenty of space. Clean and well serviced.
The pool wasn't too good. No breakfast was included but the hotel met all our needs. I spent five days at the Chateau de Bangkok. The serviced apartment has very nice decor. I have the studio suite with a fully functional kitchen but there are not much utensils. If you are not planning to cook there then this should not be a problem. we had a very pleasant experience and will definitely go back next time.

Room size We have stayed several times in the Chateau de Bangkok and we have always been impressed by this hotel. We always get them to collect us from the airport and they have never missed a pick-up. The hotel is in a great location, only a few minutes from the closest sky-train station which makes going around Bangkok very easy. We stayed in the smallest room available and were impressed by how much space we had (a lounge area as well as a kitchen area for those who fancy cooking; there was a big fridge and microwave as well). Service is very good but we did not have the breakfast included in our package so I can't cooment on the food. All in all, a great hotel.

Location, facilities, property design, amenities, prefessional and friendly staff Jacuzzi was not working and needed cleaning this stay. Minor property details need a little attention. This great property is a serviced apartment complex. It has the amenities and facilities just like a hotel, but the rooms are really studio through 3 bedroom apartments. All have full kitchen (Studios only have a microwave; no stove). Maids clean everyday. Rooms a nicely appointed in light, airy colors. Big 'picture-windows' bring in the light and the city. This is a GREAT Value for the prices paid.
Shopping Tip : Take the Skytrain to the ChatuChak weekend Market or stroll over to the Suan Loom night market. Lunch a the Thai Curry Restaurant up the street or in Paparazzi restaurant in the hotel

Convenient Location, spacious, modern, and comfortable suites and apartments. Friendly professional bilingual staff. Ample security, and great pool, fitness room, sauna, steambath, and business center. Very reasonably priced. Close to Phloen Chit BTS stop. Minor infrastructure details could be touched up. This trip included my fourth and fifth stays at the Chateau de Bangkok. I've stayed at other competing properties near its location, but none can compete with the Chateau based upon value. I will continue staying at the Chateau for my future visits to Bangkok. It's near everything and convenient to Bangkok attractions and night life. The staff made me feel welcome and at home.
Restaurant Tip : Soi Ruam Rhudee where Chateau de Bangkok is located, has some great little restaurants close by. The street is quiet but located 200 yards from Sukhumvit road, a major Bangkok thoroughfare. This hotel is a great value.

It is excellent.. Good location, very nice staffs, comfortable rooms, nice view A bit pricey but worth the money.. I had an excellent stay at the Chateau de Bangkok!! The staffs were very very friendly and they are so helpful. The room is very good, clean and comfortable. You'll have a nice view from their swimming pool.
It is very easy to get a cab in front of the hotel or you can ask for the hotel's staff to find you one. Chateau de Bangkok is quite near to the Ploen Cit BTS station, and it is also near to the sukhumvit road. Suan Lum night bazaar is just 10-15 walk.
They also have a small mart at the lobby and also lots of newspapers.. ^__^ There are coffee shop, thai spa n massage, restaurants and 7eleven very near to the hotel, so i have to say that this hotel has a very good location.
I do really2 enjoy my stay there..
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : you can take shuttle bus from the airport (150baht per person) or by taximeter (250-320baht depends on the traffic)

Better than expected.... it is an older property but in a very good location being so close to All Seasons Place and the Conrad hotel, as well as Sukhumvit and the BTS
Rooms were a strange layout and the age of the design is evident but they are clean and of a good size..
With a good renovation this would be a superb place to stay and as they have priced accordingly it offers very good value for money and is somewhere OK to stay

The rooms! They're beautiful. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Tucked away off main road. Spent a little time finding the hotel. This hotel is a wonderful place to stay. Rooms are great. Pool is cute. Business center is amazing. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. I love staying here.

-Laundry took forever
-Room slightly old Stayed there for 4 days and was satisfied most of the time. The location was great with All Seasons Place just around the corner. The only problem is tat laundry took forever, almost 2 days. On the last day, they were hurrying me to check out while my laundry haven't came yet and I cannot pack my luggage.

Pool on the roof in the middle of Bangkok. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room - good size but seriously in need of makeover.
Food seemed rather expensive at the rooftop cafe. The Chateau enjoys an excellent location just off Sukhumvit and opposite the Conrad, very close to the Night Bazaar. The pool is the hotel's best feature, although small it offers all-day sun which is rare in downtown Bangkok. The downside is the rooms. They could be fantastic but need a lot of work, the one we had even had a broken toilet seat! The decor is quite unusual and the windows offer no protection from the traffic noise. We didn't try the food as it was very expensive.
Shopping Tip : Starbucks across the road!
