Location, facilities, property design, amenities, prefessional and friendly staff
Jacuzzi was not working and needed cleaning this stay. Minor property details need a little attention.
This great property is a serviced apartment complex. It has the amenities and facilities just like a hotel, but the rooms are really studio through 3 bedroom apartments. All have full kitchen (Studios only have a microwave; no stove). Maids clean everyday. Rooms a nicely appointed in light, airy colors. Big 'picture-windows' bring in the light and the city. This is a GREAT Value for the prices paid.
Shopping Tip : Take the Skytrain to the ChatuChak weekend Market or stroll over to the Suan Loom night market. Lunch a the Thai Curry Restaurant up the street or in Paparazzi restaurant in the hotel

Convenient Location, spacious, modern, and comfortable suites and apartments. Friendly professional bilingual staff. Ample security, and great pool, fitness room, sauna, steambath, and business center. Very reasonably priced. Close to Phloen Chit BTS stop.
Minor infrastructure details could be touched up.
This trip included my fourth and fifth stays at the Chateau de Bangkok. I've stayed at other competing properties near its location, but none can compete with the Chateau based upon value. I will continue staying at the Chateau for my future visits to Bangkok. It's near everything and convenient to Bangkok attractions and night life. The staff made me feel welcome and at home.
Restaurant Tip : Soi Ruam Rhudee where Chateau de Bangkok is located, has some great little restaurants close by. The street is quiet but located 200 yards from Sukhumvit road, a major Bangkok thoroughfare. This hotel is a great value.

It is excellent.. Good location, very nice staffs, comfortable rooms, nice view
A bit pricey but worth the money..
I had an excellent stay at the Chateau de Bangkok!! The staffs were very very friendly and they are so helpful. The room is very good, clean and comfortable. You'll have a nice view from their swimming pool.
It is very easy to get a cab in front of the hotel or you can ask for the hotel's staff to find you one. Chateau de Bangkok is quite near to the Ploen Cit BTS station, and it is also near to the sukhumvit road. Suan Lum night bazaar is just 10-15 walk.
They also have a small mart at the lobby and also lots of newspapers.. ^__^ There are coffee shop, thai spa n massage, restaurants and 7eleven very near to the hotel, so i have to say that this hotel has a very good location.
I do really2 enjoy my stay there..
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : you can take shuttle bus from the airport (150baht per person) or by taximeter (250-320baht depends on the traffic)

Better than expected.... it is an older property but in a very good location being so close to All Seasons Place and the Conrad hotel, as well as Sukhumvit and the BTS
Rooms were a strange layout and the age of the design is evident but they are clean and of a good size..
With a good renovation this would be a superb place to stay and as they have priced accordingly it offers very good value for money and is somewhere OK to stay

The rooms! They're beautiful. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable.
Tucked away off main road. Spent a little time finding the hotel.
This hotel is a wonderful place to stay. Rooms are great. Pool is cute. Business center is amazing. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. I love staying here.
Hotel Feature Tip : The roof top at night is beautiful.

-Great location, close to All Seasons Place
-BTS is within walking distance
-Friendly staff, remembered my name and room number
-Room is spacious
-Laundry took forever
-Room slightly old
Stayed there for 4 days and was satisfied most of the time. The location was great with All Seasons Place just around the corner. The only problem is tat laundry took forever, almost 2 days. On the last day, they were hurrying me to check out while my laundry haven't came yet and I cannot pack my luggage.

Pool on the roof in the middle of Bangkok. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Room - good size but seriously in need of makeover.
Food seemed rather expensive at the rooftop cafe.
The Chateau enjoys an excellent location just off Sukhumvit and opposite the Conrad, very close to the Night Bazaar. The pool is the hotel's best feature, although small it offers all-day sun which is rare in downtown Bangkok. The downside is the rooms. They could be fantastic but need a lot of work, the one we had even had a broken toilet seat! The decor is quite unusual and the windows offer no protection from the traffic noise. We didn't try the food as it was very expensive.
Shopping Tip : Starbucks across the road!

more in house facilities would be better
this hotel is combined with apartments so there was not a lot of action hapopening while i was there. The restaurant was quite good but maybe a little too expensive. The hotel was very quiet but not too far from conveniences and the main road of sukhumvit. It is a no-fuss stay and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Gorgeous room, so much space, fast elevators, lovely pool--and REAL hot tub--w/strong jets and hot water! Extraordinary staff, super location, peaceful and quiet! Super rate!
A smidge tired, but in a wealthy dowager-like way.
Chateau de Bangkok is right up there with our top favorite hotels: Regent Sydney, Four Seasons Las Vegas, Westin & Imperial Tokyo, Intercontinental Seoul, Waldorf+Astoria New York, any Klimpton property. It is classy and understated without being stuffy or too over the top. Comfortable & scrupulously clean, fast elevators, Paparazzi Restaurant--exquisite! Roof-top pool is gorgeous. Great lighting, fast elevators. Staff is first-rate, esp. "Bond, James Bond!" Very comfy bed--not the typical rock-hard Thai bed. Welcome drink, room escort made us feel right at home. Wake up call on time, taxi arrangements perfect. Under-promised, over-delivered. Extraordinary property! Agoda rate was the BEST value! Will definitely return!
Hotel Feature Tip : BTS Ploen-chit station is nearby and v. easy to use. Don't be afraid to take taxis, tho. Doorman gets taxi immediately, and makes sure the driver knows where to take you, and tells you the approx. fare.

Clean, comfortable room with very friendly staff. Good location and value.
The pictures make the place look better than it is.
Chateau de Bangkok is a great choice for the value but not a very Fancie hotel. The hotel is an older building that has been up graded tastefully and the rooms are clean and comfortable. It is more of a studio apartment than a hotel room. They provide you with a good size refrigerator and a microwave. There are some dishes, forks, spoons, etc and a small sink in the room for your convince. The meads will wash the dishes and clean your room everyday. It had a nice bathroom with a great bath tub. The hotel is close to the public transportation (BTS) and close to the action. We had a great time and were happy with the accomidation.

Quiet Location, convenient to conrad hotel.
Rooms are very spacious, cannot get over the size of the 1 bedroom appartment. It is a great place to stay short term or long term. Staff very firendly and like to make conversation.
not well known by taxi drivers - but they have a card at reception to give to taxi drivers, having the details written in thai, which is very helpful
Recommend for mature couples, professional/ business people, who don't want to put up with resort style accomodation
Restaurant Tip : Fancy drinks at Corad 2 min walk, and also Lumpini Night Bizzar very close for dinner

The taxi driver had no idea where to go. Possibly a pro as it is not very well known.
I would recommend anyone without children to stay here, the facilities are lovely, pool on the roof is a talking point. thank you for a pleasant stay.\nConrad hotel across the road and often wen there to use their bars, restaurants and shops

Great Location, large room
Bad administration. Ventilation need some work.
The hotel was decent for what it is but their room administration system need serious update. I checked in and imagine my surprise when I unlocked the door to someone looking straight at me with eyes wide open. It's another person room. Changed to another room but the room's ventilation had problems as it was siphoning the air from the bathroom and smokes from another room.
