The Chateau de Bangkok is a very good hotel in an excellent location. It is only a couple of minutes away from the Sky Train station and this makes it so easy to travel around the city without having to use taxis or other transport.
Everyone in the hotel is very friendly and helpful and any requests are dealt with quickly and efficiently. Although it is central, it is very quiet and the swimming pool on the roof is great to spend a few hours or have a look at the city. The newly opened bar/restaurant at the top of the hotel is also to be recommended.
Very good service. Staff pleasant and excellent location.

I have stayed here twice now & can not complain about this place. The location is good, tucked away from the hussle & bussle but can walk to Sukhumvit in 10 minutes, skytrain in 5 minutes, there are several high standard restaurants opposite which are frequented by wealthy Thai's so obviously food is good. Hotel staff are friendly & helpful, general standard of rooms is good I would say 4 star but convenience of location is 5 star. Pool is small but it is a good family friendly place.
location
bathrooms a little dated, pool small.

We have stayed here on a few occasions and always got a nice room. This time we got a one bedroom apartment which was slightly different in configuration, but convenient nonetheless.
- Shopping Tip : You can use the 7-Eleven store which is a couple of minutes walk towards the skytrain for drinks and snacks.

Will like to try the studio next time as I stayed in the one bedroom apartment which was too big for one person.

Replacing light bulbs and repairing my bedroom telephone were done quickly and pleasantly by the resident engineer.
- Hotel Feature Tip : Use taxis to travel around Bangkok from the hotel, at least to the nearest BTS station. The doormen are very effecient and polite and will get a taxi for you almost immediately.

We have traveled to Bangkok well over 15 times in the past 10 years and usually stay in a luxury hotel somewhere along the river. This time we thought we would be different and went to the Internet - and found the Chateau D'Bangkok. It seemed a bargain so we booked. When we arrived we were more than pleased with the style of the place, its fixtures and the friendliness of the staff. All in all we had a very pleasant say and will definitely return. Serviced apartments seems the way to go!
- Restaurant Tip : The restaurants opposite the hotel are p market venues but varable in their quality and service.

This family visit we stayed in the 2 room suite which has plenty of room for kids & visiting friends/ family/ business colleagues, like a luxury home from home but with great service on tap.
nice bar, breakfast more than adequate, staff friendly & location is perfect, all of Bangkok easily accessible but the hotel is nicely tucked away so as to offer some tranquility. Great parade of restaurants/bars opposite very high standard of dining.
location & spacious
slightly dated but as a 4 star residence no complaints.
