Lovely hotel with nice room and unique location.
Riverview. But I was unable to see the river from my bed, which was my expectation. Room was in a side.

Nice hotel with large riverview rooms

My stay at the Chatrium was great. They upgraded my room when I arrived, so I enjoyed excellent views of the river. My balcony allowed me to view the fireworks and festivities of Loi Krathong. The grounds of the hotel were nice, and the shuttle boat was very convenient. The only negative is I feel the front office staff could have been more helpful.

Stunning view and very nice stay

If you plan to stay here, first try to get a good deal (we got a very good one here on Agoda) and also make sure you will get a room with view. It is more expensive but, believe me, you will find it worth it.
The room is very spacious and feature even a kitchenette. Not many appliances or cuttlery, but you can request whatever you want. Toilet has bathtube and it is nice, hot water.
The balcony is quite lovely and you can enjoy a very wide and nice view of the river and the pool.
Talking about the pool, it is large, you can take some serious swimming there, with the background of the river.
For your convenience, hotel provides free shuttle boat to the Central Pier, which makes very easy to commute to BTS, etc. Anyway, if you choose to walk, you can find places to eat cheap around, 7-Eleven just on the next building, etc.
Breakfast has various kind of food, Thai, western, pancakes, good sort of breads, etc.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
You can take free shuttle boat to Asiatique from central pier

A nice place to relax

this hotel is excellent! the room is quite big. they not only offer the big space, but also provide the kitchen. the river side view is beautiful. it's joyful to stay at the room to watch the river sider view. you think that's the best? no! the best view is at the pool. the pool is big and beautiful. it is along the river. i stayed there for a while and just read and idle. a perfect afternoon. i love this hotel.

I've stayed at this hotel on business previous. This time spend just two nights, and was upgraded to s high floor suite from which the view was sensational both of the river and the city. The hotel is probably older than some of the other properties on the river but is very well maintained. It has all the facilities of a five star hotel. Even though the hotel was full and bustling with guests, the staff were very courteous, attentive and professional. The hotel has a shuttle boat that takes guest free to the closest sky traion (BTS) station. There are plenty of options to eat out close by(street food or numerous restaurants at Asiatique, a modern complex with vendor type stalls selling every variety of goods.

we enjoyed our stay in this Hotel, the room was great, also breakfast, pool area was very nice also for our 1,5 years old doughter, if we go to BKK we will stay here again
