we stayed at the hotel only one night, but enjoyed our stay. our room had a great view over bangkok and the room itself was more like an apartment than a hotel room. very nicely furnished, including a full sized kitchen. the staff were very friendly.

Very nice pool overlooking Bangkok river.

The Chatrium Hotel is like a small city, and is absolutely beautiful. I would definitely stay in this hotel again if I return to Bangkok.
The rooms are immaculate, the staff friendly and helpful and with 24/7 security you always felt safe outside at nighttime.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Take a hotel card out with you when returning by taxi, our driver got lost and the fare worked out rather expensive.

the room is spacious but the hotel is a little bite remote. the room consists of balcony, open kitchen, living room and bedroom. the design of the washroom is too fancy, it is suitable for couples but not for family. the swimming pool is big and the review of the river is great. the ferry service is wonderful, the ferry is new and well decorated. it connects the hotel to the central pier and it is one of convenient ways to visit china town and grand palace.
Travel tip:
Near Asiatique, it is convenient for tourists to visit the latest night market.

Overall was pleasant. View was superb, stayed in one bedroom suite with river view.
However, location's not strategic for shopping, local dining. there's nothing no real experience of the local thai food as well.
personally, i still prefer staying at Ratchada.

Excellent rooms for very affordable prices. The only draw back is the lack of decent 24 hour food and the slightly out of the way location. It's still on the river, but way back. It's no where near central and everywhere takes a tuk-tuk journey. Having said that, the rooms and comfy beds and awesome balcony views make up for that.

This hotel is very good, The food is good and the service is good but sometimes feels like it miss the personal touch, staff are such well train that could feel like dealing with robots.
Our suite was very very good with river views was amazing, pay the extra for the view it really worth it.
The bed is soft and that was the best sleep we have in our holidays, most hotels have a hard firm bed that feel like you are sleeping on the floor, no this one, well done Chatrium Riverside!!!
The breakfast is a bit overprice, you can have a great meal anywhere in Bangkok for a lot less than that.
Room service food is very good and a great option when just feel to tired.
the pool is OK, large but a bit boring and to much on the safe side 1m 20 deep all over.
i really recomend this hotel, i had a great stay and i will stay here again without thinking twice, the good thing well overpower the bad and is probably the best value for money hotel in Bangkok. So go ahead and book it but go river view and you will never forget it.

Great hotel obliging staff good location

Easy check in comfortable rooms wifi had drop outs river view great and river shuttle to sky train excellent only negative had to request room to be serviced twice late afternoon

Japanese restaurant outside hotel great no need to walk in heat convenient good food and reasonable price
