Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. would love to take up the offer of special deals a
Extremely helpful and caring staff. Is in a great location in China Town which just comes alive at night time.We loved the corner room as it is big with fantastic double glazing which lets you view all the action below without that same busyness annoying you with it's accompanying noise. We have stayed at this hotel before and did not like the breakfast previously. This time we found breakfast to be lovely each day and were impressed with the very obvious improvement from previos times..

We like staying at the China Town Hotel. It is in a great location with 7 elevens and other conveniences close by.The staff are so friendly and helpful. In the past we have had transport and money problems with which the staff have had inpromptu 'meetings' to try to help us out as they said they were worried about us. This was so nice because the problems were our own and they could have left us to struggle to solve them ouselves but they went the extra miles and made phonecalls and enquiries on our behalf to help solve the problems. It really is comforting to know that the China Town Hotel staff really embrace the concept of customer service and assistance beyond the minimum required. It is a value for money hotel and we quite happily tell people we stay there and recommend it as a good budget hotel.

The hotel is right on Yaowat road, so it is pretty good if you like chinatown, but not real close to a MRT or BTS station. Hua Lamphong is the closest MRT station. The breakfast was okay, not great (great if you like toast and coffee). The rooms were okay, nothing special, but good value overall for the money
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
a lot of quiet, small alleys/sois near the hotel

Decent Value Hotel
Near Station (Hua Lamphung), old style but clean and tidy, decent breakfast
5.7
There are cheaper hotels around, but this is a cut above the real budget hotels, and is reasonable value for money. Room was small but clean, nice bathroom, and a/c worked fine. 30 Baht tuk-tuk ride from station but can walk in under ten minutes. Good location - right in the middle of Chinatown, but avoid the hotel restaurant - much better and cheaper food available outside - particularly in the station food court
Hotel Feature Tip:
Avoid the hotel restaurant

Right in the heart of Bangkok China town.
Very good location with many good Chinese restaurants around.

The rooms are large but equipped with poor quality furniture . This hotel need to remodel the bathroom and provide better quality towels to be classified as a 2 star hotel. The hotel locates in an excellent spot of the China town with walking distance to the main train station and to the river.
Restaurant Tip:
The Dim sum restaurant which is next door of the hotel, is very good (low price and good quality food) but lack of choices. Try the shark fin soup at the street vendor that is about 100 meter across the street from the front door of the hotel. The large pot costs 500 bahts and is enough for 2 while the single small bowl at the restaurant costs 600 bahts.

reasonable priced clean hotel
Good situated.Just 10 min walking from train, subway and skytrain.
6.3
It is a reasonable priced hotel in the heart of China town.
The room I reserved was not so nice and had no WIFI on room.
For a slightly higher price I got a room with WIFI and which was just better furnished.
It was very easy to go to every where in town, because all kinds off public transport were near.
And that makes it good for value.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Nearby is a what with "The golden Buddha".
Just 5 min wlking from the hotel.
All atractions you want to see are easy accesible
with skytrain or subway.

Hotel was perfect for china town. Easy to catch a taxi or tuk tuk to anywhere you like. there is a hospital very close to the hotel that does accupuncture for 200Baht (4euros). we did it a few times cause here it costs 50 euros.

China Town Hotel
Friendly staff, Decent location
7
Hotel staff was helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel is within walking distance to several attractions including discount hawker stalls, a golden temple, river taxi, and Hua Lamphong Station. The room itself was old and in need of serious renovation. Dim lighting, worn carpet, and a cheap portable TV. The bathroom was worse. The floor drain cover was suspiciously dislodged and not covering the large drain hole. The shower area was moldy with a big dark hole looming above—needless to say we refused to use the shower because of its state.
Hotel Feature Tip:
It would be a good idea to inspect the room before booking.
