Small, new, friendly - awesome! Quiet street Soi 16, and at the same time - just a minutes to Asoke - Sukhumwit junction, BTS, MRT, restaurants, etc. Feel like home.

Nice apart hotel at the price of busy-crowded 'mass tourists preferred' hotels. I feel like at home, all-new house, room, elevators, LCD TV + DVD, Aircon, just nothing to complain. Staff friendly, even at deep night knows all guests, willing to help always. Free broadband internet in the room and WiFi in the lobby, also computer available (if you don't have your own) at additional charge.

Restaurant Tip : Foodland store with 24-hour eatery 50 meters from hotel.

- modern - easy access with skytrain - free internet

- small bed - poor breakfast

The hotel is at a walking distance from skytrain and major shopping malls and entertainment. Rooms are clean and well furnished. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Beds are a little bit small and the breakfast could be improved. I recommend this hotel and will come back again for my next visit to Bangkok.

The location is on a quiet street near famous Bangkok night life. A Foodland supermarket is near.

The service was a nightmare. Read this!

When I checked into this property the front desk staff was more concerned about the time of my checkout three days in the future versus welcoming me to the hotel. I was exhausted from a long trip and when I went to the shower, the shower gel and shampoo was left over from the prior guest. Digusting. There was no instructions on basic things like how to use the remote for the aircon. All together, the service was like a nightmare. One good point is that the property is within walking distance of famous nightlife and also a nice Foodland Supermarket. The hallways looked like an old college dormatory. I did not like this place and do not recommend it unless this price is very deeply discounted and you are on a budget. Oh, because of how the main street intersects the street of the property, a taxi out of the property to the Sukhumvit area can be quite difficult to get to.

Shopping Tip : A few minutes walk to a great Foodland Supermarket.

Nice suite style hotel with plenty of space, good size comfortable bed with television. Bathroom was in good condition with a very nice shower that worked. Room had a good little kitchen, that we were able to take advantages of as there was a small seven eleven, very near to the hotel.

Modern furnishings, clean, friendly staff

we are happy with this hotel, no cons

this hotel is strategically located, it is easy to get around due to the fact that it is just a walk across the street to get to the MRT and bus station. Also, great place to stay if you hae business at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. Will choose this place again if we are planning to go to Bangkok.

The room was fantastic! Such a smart design. Close to Subway and Skytrain.

Very impressed with the quality of the room. Our room was the Executive Studio and had a large spacious bathroom, a nice kitchenette with everything you would need in the drawers and cupboards, and really smart design. As we were travelling with a small baby, we were really impressed with the sliding room divider and the fact that the TV was on a special wall bracket that could move along the wall from the sitting area to the bedroom. Really smart and useful. Would be nice to have a little more for breakfast as the food was good, but no eggs. Mostly continental.

Shopping Tip : short walk to subway and only 3 stops to Night Bazaar.

We had an executive suite, and it was beautiful -- had all the amenities we could want for the kitchen, bathroom, etc. Also, everything was very modern and clean, except for (potentially) the bedroom (see below).

It was clearly a smoking room, so if this is a problem any potential customer should request a non-smoking room. (The smell of cigarettes, while not overwhelming, was clearly there.) Also, I woke up in the morning to find bedbug bites all over the bottom half of my body. I'm not sure if I can attribute this to the hotel, however, since my partner woke up bite-free, and we had been camping the night before in individual sleeping bags, and, upon inspection of the Citadines bed, we didn't see much. (That said, I'm not sure why I didn't notice the hundreds of bites prior to our stay at Citadines.)

Overall, the hotel was very, very nice. It was clean and clearly well-attended - the only glitch can be attributed to the potential fact that my bedbug bites came from my overnight stay there. (Although, as I said above, it may have come from my previous nights camping.) The breakfast was great and it came inclusive with the reduced rate room. The gym and the pool were the nicest we had seen in any Bangkok or Vietnamese hotel. The treadmill actually may have been bought in the last decade!! The front desk was very nice, and allowed us to email and print out the voucher for the room. All in all, we were happy and quite shocked with everything we received for the price. I would highly recommend this hotel -- just double-check the bed before slipping in at the end of the day.

The hotel is in a great location with the Asok sky train 2 mins away. It is an easy walk to the Emporium and the nightlife is close to hand. Soi cowboy is only a 3 min walk. The Staff are friendly. Well recommended.

5 minutes' walk to MRT and BTS (subway and skytrain), friendly professional staff, cool design, large suite, clean, modern but warm and comfortable ambiance

included breakfast selection is somewhat limited

The Citadines Sukhumit 16 Bangkok made a great first impression and followed through. From the welcoming and utterly professional check-in to entering our sleek, modern (yet not sterile) suite, we felt like we'd entered our second home amid bustling Bangkok. Two blocks away were the subway and skytrain stations (Sukhumit/Asoke), eating, and shopping. Inside our 7th floor suite, all was modern, in warm yellow and white, sleek yet cozy, with unexpected nice design touches (e.g. the TV slides on a rail from bed to living areas). Moreover, it's reasonably priced even for a short stay (ours was 2 nights). Though seemingly targeting business clients, it's perfectly fine for other folks like us.

Location, helpful staff, good value for money

A/C controls are a bit difficult and the air blows over the bed on some room setups.

This was a perfect choice for our 3 week stay in Bangkok. It is very convenient to the ASOKE BTS Station, and you can get to the station from the hotel without ever having to cross that crazy Sukhumvit Road ! If you take the "path" through the Exchange Building, you will find a 7-11, several restaurants, a Starbucks, an ATM, and a gym. There are escalators in the Exchange, and at the end of a long day, they are a welcome relief. Our little studio was comfy, roomy enough and had sufficient closet and storage space. The kitchenette was well equipped and they provided an iron/ironing board and a hair dryer. There was a sliding door in our room that effectively turned it into a 1 BR. That was great when one of us wanted to sleep and the other was still watching TV. The TV is on a really cool slider and moves to the bed side or sitting area. We found the free broadband to be a little slow, but sufficient for our needs. The free wireless that was available in the lobby and 8th floor was a lot faster. The pool and gym were small, but clean and attractive. A large capacity American style washer/dryer are available for guests to use. It's a bit pricey at 90THB per load, but the convenience is worth it. Down the street, about 5 minutes door to door, is a 24 hour Foodland grocery store with a diner style coffee shop and pharmacy. 5 more minutes will take you to a very nice Isaan style restaurant with great food. All in all, an excellent place to stay. I'd highly recommend it, and will stay there again. The staff was friendly and helpful, and we felt welcomed every time we stepped in the front door. This is a simple, clean, spare operation, not a lush resort type place. But then again, it's a GREAT value. C. Stone

Hotel Feature Tip : Great shortcut to Asoke BTS through Exchange Building.

location is the best nice room with modern decoration spacious very new and clean very quiet

Shared computer in the lobby are expensive. laundry are quite expensive we didn't get free breakfast in our deal

You can't go wrong with this place. The location is the best in town, in a walking distance to both BTS and MRT asoke. Room are new, clean and quiet. Do not forget to ask for non-smoking room though if you are a non smoker.

Restaurant Tip : Starbucks is 5 mins away. However, i would highly recommend checking out the local coffee shop next door. they have a nice, private, little garden for you to hang out.

given the location, right in the heart of sukhumvit road, the place is unbelievably quite. can barely hear traffic noise. Sukhumvit soi 16 is an upscale residential street. Hence, it is also very safe. would definitely stay here again.

Restaurant Tip : There is a small pantry in room equipped with fridge, small kitchen and sink. The supermarket, Foodland, is down the street and is open 24 hours.

easy access to the sky train (BTS), located near the major shopping malls area, quite new hotel, helpful and friendly staff, complementary internet

small lobby, old towels, cleaning not as good as before.

Studio are nice and well equipped. The hotel is 5mn walk from the Asoke station. It was not my first stay at the citadines hotel so I have noticed that the overall quality is decreasing. They should by new towels and bedsheets. There is a Foodland open 24/7 next to the hotel which is very convenient.
