Location is great on Sukhumvit Soi 8, close to skytrain and relarively quiet soi.
Clean rooms
Friendly staff Nice clean hotel in a great location in Bangkok. Stayed in Executive Studio which may be little on the small side but the room is very well laid out and the design maxes out that space well. Staff are friendly and there is free tuk tuk service up to Sukhumvit and the Skytrain station. Highly recommend.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Baan Dalah Massage upt Soi 8 toward Sukhumvit is a very nice Spa/massage place with a very good ambience.

Cleanliness, Amenities, Proximity to Popular Destinations, Friendliness of Staff Area in which hotel is located a little shady I've stayed at the Citadines Soi 8 many times and each time the experience has improved; especially the service. The staff seems friendlier than ever and the tuk-tuk drivers in particular are a joyful lot. Excellent value.
Shopping Tip : Take the BTS two stops up and check out Central Chitlom and Central World. A lot less hectic than the Siam shopping centers and, in my opinion, much better selecion.

Kitchen is sufficiently equipped, cozy, clean, nice size for 2 The shower curtain could have been bigger, the floor requires some cleaning & limited channel varity. Also, the view from the window is overlooking the building adjacent to it, as such you'll need to keep your curtains drawn all the time. The room is of a comfortable size and the kitchen is sufficiently equipped with a samsung microwave, utensils, electrolux water flask, toshiba refrigerator, hood & hob. The tuk tuk provided by the hotel comes in very handy when you are travelling around via BTS. Try to avoid taking taxi during the day due to the notorious in bangkok. The BTS is always a safer bet. There are 2 7-11s along soi 8 and another one just along the main road. Times Square is just a short 3-5 mins walk away.
Shopping Tip : There is a rather good massage place along soi 12 (just 2 soi on the right of soi 8) call King & I. If you plan to make many calls back home, do buy the pre paid SIM card from the airport (I guess other shops sell them too, but we bought ours from the airport). Overseas call is at 1 baht/min.

Convenient location, super-friendly service, clean and the amenities are excellent. All around great value for the price. Location is a little sketchy in the evenings. Guests should be instructed to ignore the catcalls by jumping on the tuk-tuk (wonderfully friendly drivers, btw) and jump on the BTS. I've stayed at the Citadines Soi 8 four different times now and I've loved the consistent value, friendliness, cleanliness and convenience of location. The tuk-tuk drivers enlisted to send you off to the BTS are exceptionally friendly and reliable. Highly recommended yet again.
Hotel Feature Tip : Wake up early and hit the fitness center on the 7th floor. No one is there usually from 7am-8:30 or so.

So close to the bustle of Sukhumvit and Nana BTS that it's easily walked unless you are really lazy and take the complimentry tuk-tuk. I've stayed here twice now in the past month. OK stereet foods close by as well as some not too sleazy restaurants and bars.
mostly pleasant and helpful staff. The breakfast is truly awful. The room service surpases this and is even worse (hard to imagine). I ordered a wood fired thin-crust pizza that was clearly out of a packet and definitely not wood fired.....absolutely disgusting! I ordered a ceasar salad that ended up being a garden salad with vinegarette dressing.....when I asked where the ceasar sald and ceasar dresing was i was told if I waited 15 minutes they would go to 7-11 and get it for me! Don't let the food discourage you......just dont eat here!

other side of sukumvit in the opposite soi (11) is a new Australia bar that's clean and airy and the food is good. Opposite side to the great Bed Supperclub.....

Very good location with good smiley tuk tuk transfer service to the mainroad. Hotel is located very near to the nightspots in sukhumvit Small swimming pools, breakfast spread small Citadines Sukhumvit soi 8 is very conveniently located in soi 8 which is very nearby to the Nana BTS station and just across the road you can reach SOi 11 where many nightspots/pubs/lounge are located. All rooms are decorated stylishly with a huge LCD TV and fully equipped kitchen. I am also particularly happy about the friendly and smiley staffs who make my stay in this apart hotel comfortable and conveniently. This hotel is like a home away from home.
Restaurant Tip : Many great food outlets and street vendors along sukhumvit road which is very nearby the hotel.Never go hungry staying in this hotel

Very nice rooms
Swimming pool on the top I hope to return to Citadines soi 8 on a future visit. Maybe the best rooms I have stayed at while in Bangkok. Very cleverly conceived and tastefully executed. A home away from home. Small but stylish swimming pool on the roof, next to small fitness area. Free tuk-tuk service to Sukhumvit road.

I found the staff to be very nice and helpful but rememebr that they are not making a killing on your stay so dont expect 5 star service. But, it is more than worth it. Great place.

good comfortable room. On a good road also not a budget hotel. I only stay when it has deals I like the hotel. had some issues with the taxi people the first time i stayed but it was ok for this trip
