Quiet and centrally, minutes from BTS Nana station Breakfast included.

None that I can think of. The rooftop pool is a bit small.

Very nice hotel, at the end of soi 8, Sukumvith so no noisy traffic. Very clean, well kept rooms. Courteous and discreet staff, no surcharge or questions asked about guests in room. Breakfast now included when booking trough agoda. Very reasonably priced minibar, free coffee, watercooker and free drinking water in room. Overall great value for money.

Value for money.

Limited hot water.

My favorite budget hotel in Bangkok. The breakfast has improved out of sight and is now an asset to the hotel. The rooms are clean and they are large enough to be comfortable. The aircon is a bit noisy and the hot water was limited but the rooms have everything I needed. I was impressed with the staff who were discrete and very helpful. The shuttle tuk tuk to and from Sukimvit Rd was a great feature and this is a bonus as the hotel is a bit of a walk down soi8.

Nightlife Tip : Best value hotel near the action.

Clean room, good well stocked fridge, well located for Sukhumwit nightlife, friendly staff, cool air con, value for money

Breakfast was boring, pool too small, jacuzzi not working

The Royal Asia Lodge is a cool oasis in busy bangkok. It's situated on Sukhuwit close to the main entertainment areas, the room was cool and clean and the management were friendly. Unfortuanately the pool was small and also the jacuzzi was not working when I visited. Overall, I would recommend it though.

In a decent location and breakfast is very good

many times you cannot get the tuk tuk driver so you have a long walk to Sukumvit

The Hotel is situated in a decent location near the heart of Town and is close to Restaurants and Bars as well as the Nana skytrain, The rooms are okay and the inclusive breakfast is very good. There is a small pool and a tuk tuk to take you up to Sukumvit however the driver often disappears and you may end up walking the ½mile or so to Sukumvit with all your bags. I have encountered this problem here on many occasions apart from the moronic tuk tuk driver the Hotel is okay

Value, location, clean.

Slightly inconvenient access

The Royal Asia Lodge seems to be improving. This time, everything in the room was as expected -clean sheets, Tv, lights, plumbing, everything working fine. Didn't try the telephone because there was no need to call the front desk. Both the golf carts that carry customers to and from Sukhumvit were running, day and night, and the call button near Sukhumvit was working. The staff was courteous as ever and the breakfast edible! I heard from another guest that some rooms are being renovated -that's nice, but not necessary. It seems that the hotel had come under new management and its starting to look like an even nicer place to say.

Travel tip : If you are a regular customer the golf cart drivers 50 or 100 baht each toward the end of your stay -they will appreciate it, and give extra prompt service the next time. If you are a new customer, tip them a little on the first and last trips.

Price Good breakfast Nice staff

A bit of in a disrepair Physical distance from Sukhumvit Road

I stayed at Royal Asia lodge for a week and a half, this was my first stay here. As for the hotel, although being a fair way from Sukhumvit Road it was made easy by the hotels free Tuk tuk service that takes you up to the road. They also boast a very decent breakfast, just make sure you get up early enough if you want some of the croissants or pastries. The room I stayed in was a bit weathered, the window, facing the street, could not be locked as it could not be fully closed, the bathtub had a crack in the plastic making water escape. But.. the street is quiet, so the slightly open window did not cause any loss of sleep. Over all, it was a nice stay, perfect if on a budget.

Restaurant Tip : Just up the road from the hotel is a very nice Thai restaurant/bar. They have a nice garden where you can sit to eat or you can hang out in the bar for a game of pools with your drinks.

ABF is pretty good for the price. Good variety

They did not have iron and ironing board which I'm sure they wrote they do have. So I had to use their laundry service which was ridiculously expensive.

Staff was friendly, and again, it's good value for the price we pay for the hotel. But some things they didn't have what the said they do on Agoda website. At the Breakfast, coffee was luke warm so it needed to be warmed up again. But every morning, menu was slightly different, and pastries were good too. Overall, we feel like we got what we paid. Good cost performance, I'd say.

Restaurant Tip : Many good Korean on the same side of Skumvit road towards asoke BTS station.

Great Place. Better option than Nana Guest Rating: 10

Location, quality and fast wifi

water pressure

I pass through BKK regularly and have now decided to call the Royal Asia Lodge my home when I am there. The internet was great and worked fine in my room. The room was far better than similar priced places and the front desk were very helpful. The only problem I could say was the water pressure in the shower was not up to standard.

friendly and helpfull staff

bathroom in bad condition

Good location on about 800 meters from Nana skytrain station and if you find this too long to walk, they serve you with a free tuktuk service.Friendly and helpful staf. Rooms with old furnitures, but bathroom is not looking fresh at all and you do not wish to go inside. Big pity, as the rest of the hotel performances are good enough for the money

Good location close to Nana skytrain station

Old furnitures + bathroom

Friendly and helpful staff. Free Internet with quick access. Deep in Soy, but they serve you with free tuktuk to Nana skytrain station.Bathroom is bad and gives you not good appetit to enter. So everything ok with this hotel, except no fresh looking bathroom, but this is so important for me that I will not book again.

Clean sheets on bed! Pretty good location! Breakfast is pretty good!

Slight delay waiting for tuk-tuk to pickup at Sukhumvit, but not a major issue now that the call button is working again.

I was pleased to see clean sheets on the bed when I checked in this time. The staff was courteous and efficient as usual. The room was in fine order, and everything worked as expected. Even the television had interesting programs in English (for those nights one doesn't want to go out). I had a room on the 9th floor -one of the only two rooms besides the restaurant. Be warned -if you get one of these rooms and you are a light sleeper, you WILL be awake from about 06:00 AM on because of staff with their blaring walkie-talkies and nosy guests making their way to breakfast.

Travel tip : If you are vegetarian, bring some of your own fixings to the restaurant for breakfast. The best I saw was the day they had toast, vegetarian beans, and yogurt along with a tiny bit of fruit. The day I took some peanut butter with me and a little cheese, breakfast was worth it. Oh, and the coffee (when they have it) is ok.

Free tuk-tuk to the end of soi 8 - saves walking Good, quiet street

Dirty, Old, threadbare sheets/towels,room keycard switch hanging off the wall, no room service - staff suggested I call mcdonalds

As a fallback plan, this hotel was ok - it served its purpose. However, my room was old, and worn and rough around the edges - nothing compared to where I stayed the previous night for the same price just down the road. My bath had a crack in the floor (not ceramic bath), and the lift smelt and felt a little shabby . Breakfast was ok, the staff were polite, the cleaners of my room nice, and as a place to crash overnight, then ok. But would not choose to stay if other places were available.
