Location steps away from BTS, and entertainment district. BTS abd construction of new hotel nexr door can be noisy Hallways abit musty on 7th floor, and smoking even on non-smoking rooms. BTS and guests with "entertainers" cane be noisy at wee hours of the morning. But location steps away from BTS is convenient.

Nice rooms, nice staff, very nice eating atmosphere, few steps from the BTS Sky Train Asok station Very very limited and poor breakfast, the money that you pay extra for having the breakfast are not worth it by means of quantity of the breakfast, BUT the morning atmosphere in the dining room is beautiful, I must admit. If you eat little for breakfast and want to drink coffee in peace it is not a con. Probably there is a cheaper decent alternative for sleeping in Bangkok.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : See the old city, Wat Pra, Wat Arun, Grand Pallace, Emerald Budha, take a boat to see the real Bangkok along the Chao Praya river, Go to the elephant riding in Kanchanaburi and after that to the famous Tiger Temple, go to the old Siamese kingdom Ayutthaya. Walk the Bangkok, feel it, by day, and by night. Take a package and go to Angkor Wat in Cambodia, one of the seven wonders. After Bangok go to Chang Mai, and then go to Krabi on Andaman sea, and see all the beautifull islands down there.

The good location and newly renovated interior are among the best. Old room corrdior and inadequate of survelliance camera are the cons aspect. Overall I would give this city lodge at Soi 19 the 4 out of 5 rating. Their interior design and fixture are welly renovated and cosy, making you feel extremely great. Another plus point is its convenience location, amazingly just within a stone throw from the Asoke MRT Station.

The people were very nice, a pleasure to speak with. No problems at all. The rooms were very clean and the balcony view is great! Comfortable bed, and the TV has good programing. A pleasent experiance! Great price! Only one thing that was not good. A smell coming from the drain in the bathroom. After turning on the AC, The smell was not noticed, but when we were gone for awhile and returned each day the smell was bad. Besides that, the place was nice! This place is great for the traveler on a budget! I do recomend this hotel. The staff is very friendly and nice to speak with. Always smiling! The only con was the smell when first entering the room. After runnung the AC , it goes away. My fiance and I loved the place, felt spoiled the whole time! The balcony view is very nice, I would recomend this hotel for the traveler on a budget. Great location by the skytrain and sukhumvit. With Robinsons across the street and a great place to eat there in the basement.
Restaurant Tip : The store Robinsons across the street ha a great place to eat in the lower level which is not known by many foreigners, you must check it out!

Easy access to all places... just minutes walk to MRT & BTS. No GYM, sauna or swimming facilites. Excellent location at the heart of Sukumvit and very short walking distance to BTS & MRT. Nice & friendly staff & the room are neat & clean. Will come back again.

BTS station at 1 minute walk
Nice italian restaurant Would recommend this hotel for people who wants to avoid BKK traffic. The BTS is very convenient. Staff is OK. Rooms are decent but one can see that the hotel was a take-over as the public areas are quite old. Otherwise, the area and the street is well animated.

Very close to BTS Sky Train and MRT Underground Subway.
Close to Robinsons Dept Store, McDonalds and Grocery Store.
Close to Sukhumvit Road but without the noise.
Wifi may not work in the room. Have to come to the lobby.
Construction of a new hotel next to the hotel. But the noise seems to be minimal.
I liked my stay there as it is close to the BTS skytrain which you can take to go anywhere as the traffic is horrible on the roads. I would recommend the hotel for solo travellers but not bad for family stay either. It is not a big hotel but for medium budget stay, it is a good option.
Restaurant Tip : Visit the basement of Robinson Store, right below McDonalds, for cheap food items.

Excellent location and clean, decent rooms. Poor quality wifi or completely non-functional wifi, no security boxes for valuables. I booked into this hotel because they advertised wifi in the guest rooms and security boxes in the lobby. There was in fact no security box available, and the wifi did not work a single day that I stayed there (4 nights).

Only one I want is to discount for breakfirst and dinner.

And family-mart is a litte bit far from this hotel.

in a middle of the city, many restaurants and mini market near the hotel scary elevator, small bathroom, price is more expensive than other hotels that's nicer. I've stayed for 1 night at this hotel. the hotel room is quite nice but the lamp is rather dark. the bathroom is quite small but clean. the elevator is already old and need to be replaced.

The geographical convenience is the best. Interior decoration is old. There are a lot of restaurants, massage shops around the hotel and is recommended for sightseeing.

A little noisy from the Sky Train The City Lodge Sukhumvit 19 Hotel is located within 50 yards of the Asok Sky train station. This is by far the best location for mass transit in Bangkok as both Sky Train and MRT stations are close by. The hotel room is clean and functional. I would stay at this hotel again just for the location.

You can reach to the nearest BTS station (ASOK)and metro station (Sukhumvit) just one mintues walk. Very good location. Price is not including breakfast. But there are lot of stalls and shops around the hotel. You can eat anything such as western, Japanese, korean, chinese, thai. This hotel is one of the member of AMARI group, so hotel staffs are also very nice.

Friendly AND Efficient staff
Great Value Location may prove disadvantage Large, modern, well furnished and excellently equipped suites make this a good choice while friendly, efficient staff make this choice enjoyable. Location with a 10-15 minute walk to Skytrain or MRT may prove a detraction but with hotel tuk-tuk and plenty of local taxis/mopeds to supplement shoe leather this should not deter.
