Great location in the heart of entertainment and shopping in Bangkok. The skytrain station is just right there. Very comfortable room. Very small hotel. Bathrooms are older but have been updated - very adequate and clean. This is a wonderful find in Bangkok. The location couldn't be better. It is in the middle of the best shopping, restaurants and entertainment. Lots to access by walking, or the Skytrain station is just a minute's walk. Our favorite Italian restaurant in Bangkok is just off the lobby. This is a tiny hotel, but it is clean, safe and comfortable. With so much to do in this city, you don't want to spend a lot of time in your hotel room. It is an older building, but the rooms have new carpet, beds, linens, TV. This hotel offers a great bargain. We will recommend this to our friends, and we will use it again on our next visit.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The skytrain station is 1 minute's walk from the hotel. This takes you around the city.

Spacious room. Great location. Extremely helpful and courteous staff. Limited Cable channels. Outdated design. No bathtub for non-smoking room. The bellboy and receptionist are very courteous and helpful that make you feel at home. The room is a little dated but spacious. I like the balcony and the high ceiling. The location is superb, BTS and MRT are just around the doorstep. The construction behind doesn't affect in anyway. Close to the night spot soy cowboy.

Very clean both in bedroom and bathroom, very nice staff and very strategic location (it's very near to BTS Skytrain station Asok & MRT station Sukhumvit ). The elevator doesn't stop smoothly, needs more television channels. I spend 5 nights (15-20 May 2009) with my friends at this hotel. Overall we were very satisfied with this hotel. I will stay again in this hotel on my next trip to Bangkok and will recommend to my friends. The location was really strategic, we can explore Bangkok easily from this hotel. There are also many mini markets, street foods, spas, pubs & bars near the hotel. The distance between Suvarnabhumi airport and this hotel also quite near, only need 40 minutes. BTS Skytrain Asok station very near from this hotel (about 50 meters) and MRT Sukhumvit station also (about 100 meters). The bedroom was very clean, nice beds, nice lightning, spacious. The bathroom also very clean and has complete amenities. The staff very nice both in the front desk, porter and cleaning staff. The areas that need improvement is only the elevator which didn't stop smoothly and need more television channels in the bedroom.
Nightlife Tip : Soy cowboy located very near from this hotel (about 200m) where it has so many go go bars & pubs, Nana nightlife also near (500m), spas also very near (there are many spas, thai massage and reflexology beside the hotel). There also lots of street foods near the hotel, especially from monday to friday (in the morning).

as close as you can get to both the skytrain and mrt stations which can bring you to shopping hubs like siam sq. and the sunday market, as well as the bk train station, very welcoming staff, modern rooms elevator frequently broken, weak shower great location

next to ASOK skytrain station huge construction site in back CityLodge Soi 19 has undergone a considerable upgrade since my last visit in 2003. The rooms are as good as any 4-star hotel now, with minibar, amenities, room safe, remote control TV with international channels, and high-speed Internet connection (bring your own computer). On the whole a pleasant surprise for my group of visitors. Continental breakfast was included in the room price, with good coffee in the Italian restaurant.

Located within 30 seconds walk of asok skytrain Just stayed there for 4 nights. It has a great location, very close to Asok Sky Train & MRT stations. So could move anywhere in the city very easily. Soi Cowboy is one street across the road.
The rooms were clean and tidy. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Next round will be going back to the same hotel in June.

friendly hotel and near to sky train station Asoke, Breakfast include Lift 3 times out of order I stayed there end of March 09. Check in with Agoda Voucher was very easy and quickly done. Room was on the sixt floor to the front street. Over the day you can hear a little bit of the street traffic, night time it was quitly. Behind the hotel there is a big contruction of an new building, but from this were no noises to hear in the room. The lift was three times out of order, but luckily always when I leave my room, so I took the stairs to ground floor. Breakfast was included and you can choose between Contintal or Asia breakfast. Room was clean and all was working. Air conditioning was sometime a litte bit loud but not to loud.

Excellent Italian Restaurant with good Italian wines and friendly Chef who knows his stuff.
Wi Fi in rooms Rooms are now a bit tired and needs a freshen up but no major work just paint grouting and deep cleaning. I have stayed at this hotel frequently over the last few years. Will continue to do so however there are now newer options with better facilities and rooms nearby. Corridors are a bit dingy and there is only one lift which occassionally breaks down.
Shopping Tip : Near Emporium and BTS which will get you to most other major shopping centres within 10 to 15 minutes.

Good access. Nice and clean room. Complementary internet connection only at small lobby not at rooms. located very convenient location close to main road, skytrain station, eating & entertaining spots. Easy to find it just beside Robinson.
Room is nice and clean. It not very spacious but sufficient for short-term touristic and business stay.

Good Location, Easy to catch the airport express bus, close to transport and shops and the red light district. Internet connection while free could only be used at reception and the breakfast was only a continental but was nice all the same. CheckIn and Checkout was very easy as reception staff were very polite and helpful. Room was everything that I could want being a reasonable size and clean bathroom. Location was close to transport and it is opposite a couple of big 5 star hotels so it is very well serviced with taxis. Maccas is just across the road and always nice to drop in for a late night munch. Soi Coyboy is an easy walk and Soi 4 is also just a 15 walk rather that using the sky rail.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Dont be scared to take a tuk tuk. Just negotiate the price to what you would expect to pay for a taxi be before getting in and dont tolerate any gem shops rubbish. For late night travel through the Bangkok streets it is a top experience.

Location next to Skytrain station is useful. General standard of decor is below average.
Some guests may not like the huge building site at the back. (Though noise was minimal - enough noise coming from traffic on Sukhumvit Road in any case!). Our rooms were not available when we arrived (at 2pm) despite having reserved and paid for them in advance - they had granted the previous occupants a late checkout and had no other rooms to offer us. Receptionist was polite about this but did not offer alternatives or an upgrade to superior room (despite the fact that we arrived hot, tired and with 3 small children).
Lift - there is only one - is old and slow.
Rooms have been refurbished but the fabric of the place is not great - corridors a bit shabby, lift not great (see above), furniture in rooms slightly wrecked, door seals not completely intact, some tiles in bathroom chipped, damp problem in the bathroom...just not quite up to scratch.

Friendly staffs. Comfortable rooms with clean bed sheet too.
Hotel has a very good location with easy access to major shopping centers, 5 mins to Asok BTS and MRT station. No variety for breakfast.
Though it was good and tasty but lacks variety.
I got bored after eating the same thing for 3 consecutive days.
Staff were friendly. Faulty heater was fixed quickly. Taxi driver Mr Supan who speaks English stationing outside the hotel can drive you almost anywhere in Bangkok providing easy transportation.The Italian restaurant serves very good food.I will return to this hotel again on my next visit. A pleasant 8 days stay at the hotel.
Travel tip : The hawker stall on the left outside the hotel serves very good BBQ and Thai food. A must try.

no wireless access in the room Room has tidy new look, and basic amenities are there. In spite of the clean look, one could still encounter a cockroach. I liked the lighting in the room. It would have been better if wireless was complementary in the room rather than going to the ground floor. Location is very convenient. The restaurant on the ground floor serves a decent Italian, and good coffee. Citi Lodge Soi 19 is much better than the one on Soi 9.

Location - within 200 metres of airport bus stop.
Within 100 metres of skytrain, BST stations. Rooms could do with a make over, bathrooms have been refurbished - but not the baths!
Rooms smelt of smoke. This hotel was so well placed for sight seeing, BST and Skytrain station were within a couple of minutes from the hotel. The airport bus (100 baht per person) stopped approx 200 metres from the hotel.
Numerous restaurants in close proximity.
Staff were very helpful, late check were available - no charge up until 15:00, 18:00 at a price.
We booked the breakfast which was only a continetal type - certainly not what we expected, and very poor value for money.
Well situated for the night life which was approx 10 minutes walk away.
Probably wouldnt stop here again as we had been spoiled with our stay at the the St.James Hotel (within close proximity).
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Superb location for sight seeing and the airport transfer bus (100 baht).
