Friendly staff,good food in restaurant, good and quick service for any last minute request, strategic location. Need to put spray or something to make the room smell fresh. The hotel and rooms is clean, close to the shopping center,restaurants,clubs,Sky train station and shops. The staffs are friendly and especiall for the restaurant they have friendly staff and the food was really good!

Location and price were the best things. No non-smoking rooms.
No breakfast included. The staff were friendly and spoke reasonable English. The room was neat and clean. The room was surprisingly quiet despite overlooking Sukhumvit.
They appear not to have no smoking rooms which is a major drawback for me as I am mildly allergic to stale cigarette smoke.
It was good value for money but I would not stay there again because of their lack of non smoking rooms.

Steps away from the Nana station Skytrain. Convienient to nightlife and other amenities offered in the area. Staff was GREAT. Rooms that were provided were noisy on Suhkumvit Road. Eelevator a little slow. Price was higher than most for this size room. This hotel is one of the best for location in the NANA District and on Suhmkivit Road- with no exceptions. The staff is extremely friendly and pleasant from front desk to housekeeping. I stayed for 3 days and then departed and returned for another 3 days and it wwas if I had never left.
Nightlife Tip : All the bars and clubs are within5 minutes walking distance. Try club absolute on SOI 7 and Happy Hour 13 a pool parlour on SOI 13.

Staff, location, staff, location Noisy if room is on Suhmkivit Road Top points for the staff who make an effort to keep you safe. Rooms were clean although small (for a standard), they provide shampoo, etc., which was nice. Location cannot be beat. Highly reccomend to single traveler, not quite the family hotel. Part of Amari chain which I find is excellent throughout Thailand

On Sukhumvit. Cheap. Guest friendly. Room service. You can not have the curtains open because then all the people in the skytrain will see you :-S A so so hotel. Not so bad considering the cheap price to stay here. The personel was quite good and friendly. Room service food was ok. Guest friendly if you wish to bring guests beack to the room. It's on Sukhumvit Soi 9 so it's quite near a lot of activities. The room was also ok. Sat. tv and clean. However, it's not a good room if your staying a long time. For example you cannot have the curtains open since you have the skytrain station right infront of the hotel. People will have free sight right in to the whole room...

Central location, clean, big bed, and secure Does not compare in service to other hotels in the same price range. No breakfast buffet, Internet, door man, and staff's English weaker than other hotels near by. Over all, the place was nice. Didn't have as much offering within the hotel as others, but centally located so you can always walk out of the hotel to find things for dining and entertainment. I would consider staying there again if there was no where else to stay. For the money, I could have gotten a little more somewhere else.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : There are many tours. Check the distance of the tours because it can be very tiresome to sit in the car for 3 hours to get somewhere and 3 hours to get back. Don't want to spend the day in the car. Ask about the Gem Gallery. If you don't want to go, make sure that the serivce does not include the Gem Gallery. The Gem Gallery pay the drivers to bring people there.

The hallways had no ventilation, smelled of stale smoke. Not pleasant at all. the lobby smelled like they mopped floors with urine. The smelled actually made my lady retch. We booked a superior room from the internet. When we checked in we got a basic room. At desk they told me the picture on Soy 9 Hotel superior room is for hotel on soy 19. I explained that I was not on soy 19 hotel on internet but on soy 9. they just smiled and charged us for big superior room. Anybody booking on line for hotel on soy nine be aware pictures are for newer hotel ten sois away. This hotel needs renovation. One good point rooms were clean.
Nightlife Tip : Center of red light district.

Booked for City Lodge on arrival at reception was told that the hotel was fully booked and was directed to another hotel on soi 4 Amari Boulavard which was very nice.

great location, nice restaurant in lobby City Lodge is in a great location within walking distance to all the clubs, bars and restaurants. It has a great Italian restaurant in the lobby, and there is a lot of great street food in the area. You can spend hours just walking up and down the streets to explore the night markets, and the night bars and there are many people hanging out. If you are looking for a more party atmosphere in then this location is great it is also very close to mbk. The sky train is also just a few minutes away.

It is very near from NANA station of BTS.
It takes about 1 minute to walk from the station.

Since the City Lodge is right in the center of Sukhumvit road, there's plenty of entertainment and easy access to the sky train.
For some, it might be too busy and the lobby is quite small. To stay at the City Lodge, one wants to pay visit to Bangkok and be close to all the shopping areas, night entertainment and street vendors.
You will have a chance to experience Bangkok in a nutshell, without being hassled, since the area is relatively safe.
Attached to the hotel is an Italian restaurant with a good reputation.
Shopping Tip : Up to Emporium, down to paragon.

Big clean room. Excellent room service and polite and helpful counter staff. Proximity to BTS and food vendors Noise due to proximity to BTS station but it is tolerable. Stayed 4 nights in superior room. Great hotel. World best counter staff. They actually call to extend our late checkout when we told them that our flight out of Bangkok was 2015 hrs ! Hotel to airport transfer? No problem. Room is clean and big. Kettle and hair dryer was provided immediately when requested. Noise from BTS station due to proximity but you get used to it. In any case, we are too tired most nights to care!
Travel tip : About 100m towards Asoke station, the best street food in one location under a abandoned building. Can't miss it as it's along the road. Best waffles I ever tasted. Coconut drink out of this world. But stalls change everyday so be sure to try whatever you are interested cos you may not find it the next day.

Clean room, friendly service attitude, convenient location for traveling poor water pressure, few TV channel Good service attitude, and helpful information for traveling, service people in front desk is very kind, and the room is very clean but old. air condition is cool, very suitable for such a hot weather in Thailand. if you want to come to bangkok to enjoy the night life here, this hotel I think would be the best choice to stay, because its convenient location can let you arrive to everywhere in downtown by BTS easily.

Very affordable hotel, and only a few minute walk to nana Skytrain, and about 6 minute walk to subway. Room was VERY SMALL. I felt a bit confined, but was only there for 1 night. I needed a budget hotel room as I was only in bkk for 1 night on my way to Chiang Mai. Room was small but comfortable. Not too far from skytrain or subway.
