Great rooms and location, service could be better

on the whole i have no complaints about the hotel, infact the stay was extremely pleasurable. except for one issue - i am semi disabled, which means that i need the bathroom/toilet area to have handicapped facilities. this is a non-negotiable requirement in a hotel for me. however agoda/hotels policy of 'subject to availability on arrival' is a loose term and needs to be taken more seriously. we did not get a disabled room on arrival and that was a major problem. this time i was able to get by without the facility but for those with specific requirements, i suggest you insist on a confirmation when you book.

It was my first time to visit Bang kok so I'm not sure the column bangkok is great compare to other hotels(there are really lots of hotels)
room is very big so if you have children i recommend here.
Restaurant Tip:
Somtam nua was best restaurant! order yello curry crap !

A Place Like Home

I booked Column Bangkok because of its spacious room, 62 sq.m. bedroom for Studio Executive and we are lucky to be upgraded for free to One Bedroom Executive which is even bigger in space,81 sq.m. My daughter and I enjoyed our stay in this serviced apartment type hotel with living room, dining area, washing machine and Dryer, Ironing board, microwave oven, electric stove, big refrigerator, 2 flat screen LCD TV, bath tub, shower area and two toilets.
At the hotel's 25th Floor is Long Table Restaurant and Pub area. It has a breathtaking view of the city of Bangkok which you should not missed to see.
The hotel is a walking distance to Terminal 21 Mall, an extraordinary theme mall we enjoyed taking memorable pictures.
Indeed,we had a wonderful time in Bangkok!

Our stay was truly a memorable one. We had booked two rooms - a one bedroom and a studio. Both were really nice and spacious. The staff is extremely helpful and cooperative. Looking back at my holiday I dont think there is any other place I would have rather stayed at.
The location is also amazing. The Asoke BTS station is just a 3-4 min walk from the hotel. Tuk tuks and Cabs are easily available outside the hotel.
Overall, it was just superb.
Highly recommended for everyone!

This was by far the highlight place of stay on my 10-day trip in Thailand. The location is superb, only a 5-6min walk to the Skytrain station and subway which you can take to just about anywhere. The room I had was amazing. Extremely spacious with a washer and dryer in the bathroom, microwave, refrigerator, stove, rainfall shower head, and large bathtub. The beds were very comfortable and clean, minus small what looked like ink-like stains on the white sheets. The room had a spectacular view of many of the tallest buildings in Bangkok. The Column building also has Long Table restaurant on the 25th floor but I did not have a chance to stop by.
Nightlife Tip:
Very close to both Red-light districts. A train ride away to all the hotspots.

Column was a wonderful find - a stylish, spacious contemporary studio with beautiful polished wood floors and well equipped kitchen and laundry. Excellent, convenient location - a short walk from Asok station and the shops and F&B outlets of Terminal 21.
There is room for improvement at the gym - the equipment is adequate but space is too tight and signage could be better.

Hotel was very clean and roomy. We stayed in a one bedroom with a city view. Suite was huge, a little empty...but nice.
Personally I really like a balcony,and they had a beautiful one!
Didn't necessarily find the service great, but really didn't have any complaints.
Breakfast was fine, nothing special, but the restaurant set up is very strange, one long table, didn't really like that.
Very close to shopping and Sukhumvit. Foodland is right there for food for the room. When you leave the hotel go to your right,about one block down, nice coffee place, and 3 massage places. Really nice!
The pool was a huge disappointment have to either walk through the restaurant, or a huge storage area, no towels, no pace to sit...just a pool stuck there...nice view but that's it.
