Convenient Hotel - close to airport

Hotel was approximately 10 minutes from the airport. Booked the airport transfer as part of the booking - and a driver was waiting to collect us from the arrivals area. Was picked up and taken to the hotel late at night.
Travelled with a 10 month old baby, and was disappointed that there was no kettles in the room. The rooms are quite basic - and the air conditioning seemed to partially work (kept the room cool - although it made quite a bit of noise). Bathrooms have wet showers ( no seperate shower), so need to get used to that. Breakfast was a basic american style. Has hourly shuttles which need to be booked when checking in. Took us to the departures terminal at the scheduled time.
Again - if you need to do a layover and want to place to rest this hotel is quite 'convenient' - but I wouldn't want to stay here for a longer duration. I noticed that cots are available - but we didn't bother using them.

Whilst the hotel building itself has not changed,it seems that certain rules have,if you stay for more than a day you need to request your room to be cleaned.Other than that, it's
the same.The staff have changed in the past year,not sure if it is for the better.At the end of the road the proposed shopping centre is not finished,progress has slowed down,not
sure if it has run out of interest or money by the owner.It would be good for the hotel to have this centre on it's doorstep.Would perhaps improve the menu.Anyway the hotel is
represented by it's price."Pennies"
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The hotel has a rep to arrange trips,worth using them as the
actual travel agents if there is a problem,suddenly do not understand english.

The hotel location is not very nice, in dark street, in dodgy neighbourhood. Hotel interior is old and weared out. Room was smelly, bed linen were old with stains and torned. Bathroom was unclean - had a lot of hair on the floor and walls from previous visitors - awful. I wouldn't stay there ever again.
The restaurant served us food and it had black hair in the food - sick!

friendly staff.expanded their dining area.great for your last night before you fly back home or a domestic flight the next day.
they have their mini bus to drive you to the airport.
just the basics but enough get you by.free wifi
Travel tip:
take a taxi ride 13 kl for 3 usd to the new beautiful paradise park mall or seacon square mall right next door.

Strange. From Priceline, I paid $30 US for myself+1 with breakfast while my friend paid $36 each to share a room w/o breakfast from some other website. Great for $30 and a short term stay since it includes free round trip shuttle from airport.

Dont expect any sightseeing or night life nearby. TRhis is solely a airport stop over and is good value for that purpose.
The transfer system is eficient, meet just inside Gate 4 and the rep will seat you is bus not ready. Should wait no more that 10 minutes for th 10 minute ride to the hotel. The staff are friendly and the rooms clean and comfortable but basic. Good valua.
