It was convenient with an excellent ride to the hotel from the airport. Rooms were nice, breakfast was good and massage was very good. The only problem was the hotel clerk who charged me 700 baht for a ride into town. I should have done my research!

The receptionist suggested to use 'room night' taxi for two way transfer between Bangkok city. As the hotel is located in a remote area, there is a difficulty of getting a taxi in the central Bangkok to return the hotel, she said. This kind of tip is helpful.

Shuttle departs every hour from 2:30 am, so no need to worry about the earliness of the flight schedule. The equipment is a minimum but well functions.

There is no elevator.

I had to email booking agent to get phone No of this hotel so that I could arrange a pickup. Could not be sure that I was understood by reception clerk (I speak English.) Thai Airways postponed my flight for an hour - rather than hazard another spoken conversation I emailed Agoda for Convenient' email address. I emailed new details and on arrival at BKK I waited 30 mins at meeting point 3 - no pickup. Caught a Taxi. 30 minutes. Hard to spot the hotel, it is set a long way back from the road and has minimal signage on the road. As a solo female there was no way I was going to walk to the nearest shops in the dark! Hotel set in unlit vacant industrial land next to an overpass/motorway. Ordered food from on site cafe. Don't bother! Best part was when I shook out the pillows 2 baby cockroaches scrambled across the bed! The blanket was visibly stained but I did not remove it, I would have had to turn off air conditioning (which is quiet and efficient). The shower would not work in the morning, but it was 5am and I did not have time to request assistance, which I am sure would have been forthcoming. I needed a bed in a cool room for 10 hours and this is what I got. The wake up call and delivery to airport was great. Staff friendly.

Cleanliness of bed linen was distinctly in question. Not happy about arranged pickup and difficulty in arranging this.

It is a very convenient hotel, but basic. There is nothing breathtaking, but for one night it was worth it. It is clean and reliable and the staff are very helpful. We had a driver show us the local sights and he was very nice. The restaurant is very quaint and relaxing. It is a good stopover hotel if you are planning on moving onto a different location. I wouldn't make it a longterm hotel though.

Closer to airport, internet access, friendly staff, nice little restaurant.

Location is very strange and it is further from airport than stated.

Review of Convenient Hotel near Bangkok Airport Guest Rating: 3.3

Convenient Hotel is more of a motel than a hotel. It is about a 10 minute ride from the airport when there is no traffic - definitely not 5 minutes! The hotel is set quite far off a very busy street and since it is close to the airport, it is noisy with planes taking off and landing. The accommodations were fine - nothing extra. The room was clean; however there was no safe/vault to store passports or other valuables. We left our valuables with the front desk staff and that was okay; although the staff wasn't really prepared to take our valuables. This hotel is about 30 minutes from Bangkok - if you take a taxi into the city, make sure you use a metered taxi which means the taxi will start with a 35 baht charge and you will have to pay the toll road charges which amounts to about 50 or 60 baht (I think?) All in all, a ride into bangkok is about 300 baht during normal day and evening hours. Getting late night transportation back to the hotel is much more expensive - a taxi at 2am was about 550 baht + road tolls. The hotel is noisy - sound seems to travel very well through the walls and floor.

I travel often to thailand and i like the convience of a short stay at a hotel in order to catch my very early flight back to the airport.The convient hotel was the right price and I liked the fact that they picked you up and took you back for your moring flight.That really helped the budget.I would use them again on my way in to thailand and then use another one on my way home with more amenities. thanks for the reccomandation.

The hotel was close and clean.the price was right.

the room I had was right by the flood light in the front of hotel and the curtain was quite thin so light came in.

This hotel is perfect if you are doing an overnight to fly the next day. Not good to visit bangkok because is too far. We got there from KL and the were waiting for us. The rooms are big and clean. After staying in a cramped room in Singapore this one looked like a dancing saloon. Maybe the decoration is not really good but we didn't care. The a/c is very quiet. Go to the restaurant downstairs and the'll cook you a fresh and delicious meal in just minutes. The lady at the desk speaks good english and is very helpful.

The price is good. The room is big enough. The shower is possible but not enough. The massage is also very nice. But they don't have elevator and nothing around the hotel. It is far away from what you thought from the name of the hotel.

The price. They have the restaurant until 24.

Very hard to find the hotel. You should not go there by taxi.

This is a perfectly serviceable hotel to stay at if you want a hotel bedroom for a flight stopover. It is cheap and you get what you pay for. But it is OK. I would certainly consider using it again. But don't expect too much if you don't want to be dissappointed.

• Travel tip : I only had breakfast at the hotel, which was basic, but fine. However, although a half mile walk, there are restaurants relatively close buy if one wants to use them instead.
