The best features were the extremely well-trained and helpful staff, the care and maintenance of the public areas and rooms, and the quality and choices in the restaurant. Booking through Agoda also brought a price for a quality hotel in the area that was outstandingly affordable.
There were no outstanding areas of weakness for us, although the bar at happy hours times could be given a stronger focus instead of simply being an addenda to the restaurant. (But the bar did have the b est --ie strongest--gin and tonics I have had in a long time.
The Courtyard by Marriott is a high-quality hotel in an area full of very expensive hotels. Although it is far more affordable, it compares favorably in quality and service and is way above any Courtyard I have ever stayed in. The location is great in that you are literally steps from the Skytrain and they provide free shuttle to the station)which will take you to most of the main tourist attractions, and in the neighborhood are a plethora of very high-level malls. The area, though, is a little short on the sort of mom and pop Thai retaurants that provide the best Thai food, but if you like Italian food is within walking distance to Bangkok's "Little Italy."

The hotel is immaculately maintained and our rooms were very well appointed and clean.
The lobby of the hotel is impressive. The service was top notch from the moment we step in. In addition, all staff were courteous and the uniforms well-pressed. The location was perfect for us with a short walk to the major shopping district.
We had difficulty in locating the swimming pool. Perhaps more directional signs be put up.
The hotel was great. Beside the good location, the amenities in the room were very nice and appropriate. The service standards of the staff were high - very friendly and helpful. The bed was fantastic and our rooms were very clean. We were also delighted by the standards of the room attendants.
The hotel is well located and near to huge shopping centres. We had stayed at various hotels in Bangkok during our shopping trips over the years, but this is the best. The service and the staff were excellent. We will definitely stay in this Hotel on our next visit.

Location near light rail, good serve, good location for shopping.
The hotel was very clean and the service was excellent. The room was modern had all the major features of a luxury hotel. The work out room had good equipment and the pool and the spa were very relaxing after a day of sightseeing or shopping. The location near the light rail gave you the convenience to go to the major malls in the area also there were some good eating areas near the hotel. Along with this the food at the MoMo restaurant was excellent at the hotel. Breakfast was good and had a wide selection. I would stay at this hotel again.

Good location - close to Sky Train Station, quiet, clean, spacious rooms. Little shop open 24 hrs with refreshments and snacks.
restaurant on premises has great breakfasts, but lunch and dinner menus are very limited
Overall it is a good value for the money. Courtesy shuttle to Sky Train is very handy. They should have better concierge services, as right now the choices they have for booking tours are very limited. The one and only restaurant should offer more choices of dinner and lunch meals. Their web site should provide more precise info on getting there from Bangkok's Airport.
Restaurant Tip : Breakfasts are great. For dinners go outside.

Staff were friendly, maybe too friendly!! Rooms were great as it looked like a brand new place especially the bathrooms!! Well Located and breakfast was superb!!!

the interior of the hotel and room is still considerably new, service is the Marriot way.
The wireless system was not working properly at time of my subscription, rental was returned but ruined my trading for that day.
Maybe a very very little far from Gaysorn or Central World but still at a comfortable walking distance if the weather is friendly, maybe can extend the tuk-tuk service to these location.

It is a new and comfortable hotel. We lived two nights, felt good and suitable for us. Every morning we can enjoy the delicious food.
If the room area is bigger may be better.
We like the breakfast can be extent twelve o'clock on Saturday and Sunday. Most Chinese people live in it, We think the location is convenient.

Pillows and bed not omfortable
Modern building in a great location. Good size pool and gym with up to date equipments. Service is quite good. The only drawback was the comfort of the bed and pillows. Otherwise, the facilities and room size is of standard, the breakfast area is clean and quality of food, good.

Comfortable rooms, good location
Small bathroom, pool and pool area. Limited choice for breakfast
Overall, a good hotel for either business trip or short shopping weekend. However, for the same price there are lots of choices. Polite, efficient service as one would expect from Thai hotel. Comfortable room except bathroom too small. As far as location concerns, value for money if compare with Grand Hyatt and Four seasons.

Staff, Momo Cafe, location and bathrooms are all wonderful.
Suitcase took 2 phone calls and 45 minutes to get to my room after check-in.
This is a fantastic hotel situated 5 minutes walk from the popular World Trade Centre shopping centre and upmarket Gaysorn Plaza. Staff are all very respectful and helpful. Momo Cafe is a great place to eat - special lunch each day for 130baht - bargain! Rooms are delightful - the bed was the most comfortable I've had in a hotel! Bathrooms are modern and very clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here again on my next visit to Bangkok.

the rooms were new and spacious. Bathrooms were very nice.
There were too few chairs and umbrellas by the pool. It was not really next to the attractions or the Skytrain.
The hotel was only 7 months old and everything was almost brand new. The Cafe was great value for money and good quality but there could be more restaurants for choices. The decor was very lively and colourful. We had a fantastic stay.
