Good location, friendly staff, well-equipped hotel
Location is good, only 5 mins walk to BTS & 15 mins to major shopping malls in Siam. Nice & helpful staff. Value for money, worth to stay

It was a nice stay in this hotel! The hotel is not a luxury one but it is well equipped with a cafe, gym, spa, swimming pool and a convenient shop. The room is not very big but clean, cozy and comfortable. The service of thier staff is excellent. The Security, Concierge, Front Desk, Housekeeping, Engineering, Operators and the waitress are helpful, enthusaistic and efficient. They can make the guests feel home away from home, that is very important to a payer to choose a place to stay. One thing need to be improved is the quality of the shower amenities, the shampoo, conditioner and the shower gel is not good at all and we have to buy a set of traveller kit outside.

It is a good experience to stay at Countyard By Marriott Hotel Bangkok. We arrived at the hotel very late and the speed of check-in and the friendly staff impressed us deeply. We will come back again soon.

My stay at the Marriot was good in terms of the hotel . however I am dissapointed with the staff. I arrived at check in to a very pleasant check in , extremely helpful , yet no one helped me with my bags!! not even a hint/ suggestion of help from anyone! A bit dissapointing to say the least. The other issue I have with the Marriot was the attitude of staff serving at restaurants . It appeared that tipping is the only way to get service. The way I understand, tipping should only be reserved when there has been obvious evidence of good customer care. When the care is sloppy or non exsistent,then it is at the persons discretion if they choose to tip.Even at breakfast some staff felt it their duty to be tipped. Sorry I don't agree with that culture. I think staffs priority should be to ensure good care and forget about tips, then they will probably find they get more.

This hotel has a good location, Its just outside the main hustle and bustle of Sukhumvit area which is nice, but only a 5 min walk to the main road.
Staff performance was just average. ventilation of smoking rooms arent very good.
However with all that said, this hotel is REALLY COMFORTABLE BEDS!!
