The hotel is rather far from a Skytrain station. Free transport is provided, but it is difficult to use the service especailly during moring time. Book early, probably before your breakfast.

The Davis hotel was very nice and the staff was very helpful.
- Restaurant Tip : Zanzibar was a very nice restaurant, and the buffet at Shangri-la hotel was excellent. Cabbages and Condoms was also very good and it's good for sake too.

Many restaurants, ATM, grocery store, video store, mini mall, nail store, dentist, doctor, etc. all within 500 meters of the hotel.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Hotel car is expensive, take a taxi. Many services within walking distance of the hotel.

Across the street are several restaurants at Club Davis. Super market is also across the street and open late. There is a 24hr McDonalds and Tesco on the corner across from the used BMW dealership.
- Shopping Tip : Take the free shuttle service to Emporium. It is a luxury mall that is connected to skytrain station.

Bangkok can be daunting, but once you know how the sky train works it's easy from there. Some would think initially that the hotel is too far out, but sky train made it easy.
- Shopping Tip : MBK is a large shopping complex which houses almost everything from cheap to dear. I got my mobile fixed here for 350 THB

I have stayed here many times and like it. Not the most convenient location but a short taxi ride away from the shops, restaurants and nightlife of more central Sukhumvit.
Davis- expensive but worth it
