Good price, location and easy parking at the hotel.
Efficient and friendly staff...but does get a bit annoying when they greet you everytime you pass...even if you have only walked to collect a paper from one end of the lobby to the other. No mats for the bottom of the bath...little scary for my Mother on a couple of occassions. Re-stocking of tissues, coffee had to be asked for even after the room had just been done..
Internet speed needs tweaking, very slow on the 3rd floor. Overall a good hotel, clean and modern. Bonus is the parking, and security they have, not always easy to find a hotel in the centre of BKK with both.
Guests are no problem, and they call back to your room when the guest leaves.
Buffet breakfst was passable, just don't get there when the Tour Groups descend...a real "bun fight" with the Japs!!!
Also the response to my email request for within 10 minutes...take note others who responded 3 days into by holiday !!!

no gym/pool Located behind patong strip which I thought would be a problem but not too bad.
Did not try restaurant other than for breakfast whcih was limited and charge extra for expresso.
Gym was being opened whilst I was there so could not use.
Massage centre ok with very good guest price as opening special.

Best feature will have to be the location, right in the heart of Patpong where you are easily accessible to all the nightlife such as clubs, bars, night market, street eatriesand restaurants.
Hotel room clean and comfortable and the front office staff friendly.
The carpark is a little bit small as my Thai drive. The only weakness is that for the rate that we are charged, would be nice if a simple breakfast could be included. We stayed a total of 2 nights, the first and third nights was with De Arni, while the second night we spent our night in Korat.
As both my Thai friend and myself birthday fall on the same day and month, after we check-in at De Arni and prepared to go for our dinner.
When we both walked past the front office, we got a pleasant surprise that the receptionist wished us Happy Bithday, and we think that was nice.
Generally, we find that all the front office staff are helpful and friendly which is important for any guests to have a nice impressive of the hotel.
Restaurant Tip : Do try the street side food stalls instead of the restaurant, they are far more interesting then stiitng in a nice comfortable restaurant.

Nice hotel central in Bangkok, one of 3 hotels in a row, good value for money, staff helpful and had good english. Room was quite large, clean, nice decor. Nothing fancy, did what it was supposed to, only downside there was no pool
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Imfamous PatPong market and red light area is only round the corner !

New rooms ! Clean, Friendly ,really with a smile. Near Patpond and tourist belt. convenient. Helpful and honest Hotel staffs. Breakfast, insufficient variaties and quantity too. Replacement of food slow. Cosy Room , Clean, Friendly Hotel Staffs that really deliver with a Smile and happy to see and welcome you. and will not bother customer too much. booking for 2 only need to see one passport also can. Honest, I fotgot about one gift item "diamond pandant" and Left, I called back and they found and kept it for me. YOu never find this in Plaza HOtel, where I too forgot about some gifts bought, and called back and its gone, they dont deliver with a smile and demand all passports. NOt friendly. They dont belong to the Land of smiles. De Ari is so different, a really Thai hosipitality, it also very near to many Foot Massage palours and finding food is not a problem. and Shopping areas, many things to see and do, not far to MBK and just one street across to Silom , and to Skytrain, where it can lead you to many more shopping centres. I will certainly stay in De Ari again every time I am in Bangkok.
Nightlife Tip : Near the famous patpond night market, many resturants around, many night parties joint, many massage palours. all within walking distant.

Floors were sometimes not as clean as they could be, loud aircon. The location is great and should you ever find a taxi driver, it's quite easy just to say "Patpong" which is right across the street from the hotel. Staff are very friendly and room is nice and neat. Free wifi is a plus.
Elevators could use a remodel and aircon in some rooms is quite noisy.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Patpong Market, Lumpini Park, Silom street vendors, nightlife.

Great location, staff friendly and helpful.
Room comfortable and clean, serviced daily.
Free HiFi or internet appreciated. I know Bangkok well having been there many times. I wanted to stay in the Silom area and found this new hotel to be very convenient for my 6 night stay.It appears you can get better value walking in to the hotel then by booking on the internet.
Shopping Tip : Nay Ray Ya is a small shop in Papong Street where the market is at night, just opposite the hotel.
This shop has lovely Thai made gifts at reasonable prices. Check it out, it is just on the right as you enter from Surawong Road approx 3 doors down from the corner.

Spacious rooms, nice and polite staff, central, quite comfortable. We enjoy the stay, most probably because we didnt hang out in the hotel so much, get out in the morning and come back very late at night. But it's a nice and affordable place. VERY central since we love Silom and Siam. The staff were nice and efficient. Very comfortable rooms.
One of our room the air-con was leaking so we had to move and the room was smelling like cigarette but i guess we didnt ask for non smoking room anyway.
So for the price and the location we would definitely come back for a short shopping trip.
Travel tip : Right on Surawong, across from Patpong and Silom, very happening at night.

It is new and very clean with nice decoration and furniture. most of the staff were friendly, except one of them being a jerk and keep asking me where is the 2nd person i am cheking in with and telling me can't check in 2nd person at a later time. It is conveniently located near the Patpong entertainment area, just a walking distance and being small and new with nice and contemporary decoration. Good, fresh accommodation & service. An unpleasant surprise was the high additional charge for early check-in (at 8.00 A.M.) 850 Baht and a late check-out charge of 1.750:- Baht. The hotel was not even full but had many vacant rooms. Centrally located, friendly staff and nicely decorated and clean rooms. It would have been helpful if the hotel had informed of the early/late check-out charges before hand in order to facilitate planning of budget. With these additional charges the price of the accommodation became quite high and we would, most likely have chosen another more budget friendly hotel.
A sign outside the hotel inform passers by that accommodation is offered from Baht 1.280. We were charged 1.750 Baht for late check-out only and 850 Baht for early check-in at 8.00 A.M.
In view of this I am not sure we will be repeat customers.
Travel tip : If you need earl/late check-in/out please ask for the charge before-hand.

Clean, pleasant staff, near to night scene area small bathroom, no rubber mat in bathtub, not very helpful in giving info on day tours The hotel reception was pleasant though they did not seem experienced enough to provide information on day tours. The bathroom in our room was small and a rubber bath mat was not provided in the bath tub. My room-mate slipped and fell! It was convenient that it is near to the night scene area and not too far from the MRT Station.
Nightlife Tip : A hop and a skip away from Patpong

Everthing's still "new" after four months or so open, and the location is wonderful. Maybe an easy 10 minute walk to the Sala Daeng BTS station and less to the Patpong night market. Housekeeping is still learning. One day the room wasn't refreshed until 4pm, despite the request on the door handle. Another afternoon I returned to find dirty footprints throughout the room from walking on the just-mopped floor. Grooming items were sometimes not replaced. The food at the breakfast buffet (not included in my rate) wasn't hot at 6:30, 7:30 or 8:45 (on different days). Lovely hotel, extremely pleasant and gracious reception staff. The breakfast buffet was 50% Japanese and the guests seemed tipped towards Asian, also. One waiter wearing well-worn terrycloth hotel slippers in the dining room. Rates were half off during this "pre-opening" period. They still have kinks to work out, but nothing that would keep me from trying them again, due to the excellent location for the Night Market, night life and access to the BTS/MRT station. Reception staff was new (some only a week or two at the hotel) so keep an eye on charges and details. Ratings below ALL based on this "pre-opening" situation...
Travel tip : Good foot massages below the Sala Daeng BTS station at Siam Reflexology - been going there for years.
