Just a few steps from the main Hua Lampong Railway Station, Diamond City Hotel has an enviable location among many tourist hotspots. MBK Shopping Center and Siam Center provide the best nearby overall shopping experiences, and Pantip Plaza is a great find for electronic items. Rooms are modernly equipped with cable TV, tea / coffee maker and mini bar. The Panorama Bar and Restaurant is great for a leisurely meal while the welcoming coffee shop serves quick tasty snacks. The hotel massage service is fantastic and provides well trained staff who mostly speak reasonable English.

FREE INTERNET WiFi only,breakfast included,good rates,clean rooms,polite helpful staff.24/7 coffee & tea free.
A little further to walk to Train Station than I'd like but no big deal. For the money you pay, you can't be to picky.Breakfast range a bit limited but is free.
I have stayed here before, and the reason for my return is after staying at other Hotels closer into city centre, I haven't found a Hotel that is better for your $$$. Free (fast)Internet is good because I always carry my laptop overseas. The Hotel owner made us a special non-alcoholic cocktail on night which was awesome.A little more effort with breakfast could make this one of the better stays in Thailand. That is for the money it costs.
Nightlife Tip : There is a good massage place, as you walk toward the main street. It is the first street on your left, about 200 metres from the hotel. sorry forgot the name of massage shop.

our stay in Bangkok turned out to be a good one thanks to the working staff of Diamond city hotel.. the reception staff were friendly and always there for you to help with anything. But there was one defiency that is we asked for a maaseur for thai massage for which they said it will be done. But at the appointed time they said sorry for not arranging the same,otherwise the stay was comfortable, healthy, and great.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : the hotel is located near to grand palace, wat pho and wat arun and also shopping malls...

ugly, poor street, smelly rooms
