Good location. Look further than going to Khaosan Road as there is a lot of better well priced restaurants in the streets close by that provide a better atmosphere.

The hotel was small but good. It was a great location for visiting temples and the Grand Palace. It was nice for a few days, but probably not so great for a longer stay.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you walk 5 minutes towards the River you can catch the Express boat to sights like the Grand Palace and Wat Po for about 40 baht.
We travelled during Songkran (New Year) which I would not recommend unless you really enjoyed being accosted 24 hours a day by strangers pouring buckets of ice water down your back and smearing flour paste on your face, hair and clothes.
