Good boutique hotel experience

Poor location

King sized bed was soft and comfortable with clean bedsheets and pillows. Complimentary fruits and sweets were nice pleasantries. Blue lighting was exactly what was described in net reviews- surreal and refreshing. Staff were polite. Wireless wifi was definitely a plus point. Breakfast buffet spread was decent too. Only grouch was trying to find decent restaurants in the surrounding vicinity. Hotel's relatively near to the BTS which was about 5 mins walk away. Otherwise, no decent restaurants or eateries exist within walking distance and we had a hard time finding one. Short of taking a cab to nearby Siam Paragon area, or if Korean food tickles your taste buds, Sukhumvit Plaza does have a multitude of Korean restaurants.

Great location, courteous staff, comfortable rooms, free internet access in loby and excellent service.

drinks at pool bar were a bit overpriced

We recently returned to the Dream Hotel, Bangkok. Stayed there two years ago and found it to be comfortable, in great location and staff always responded courteously and with great attention to our needs. We feel that due to its location, near to Skye train, close to railway station and shopping, room tariffs with continental breakfast included, we would not look at any other accomodation for future travel to Bangkok.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : This Hotel is perfectly placed in close proximity to Skye train. we found the Skye train excellent value (120Bhatt for day ticket) and very effecient. Skye train served all our shopping needs includingMBK< Siam Plaza and Chatachuk night market.

Clean, well maintained, and and excellent choice for a hotel in Bangkok.

Have stayed at the Dream Hotel more that a few times. It's just an excellent place to stay. Rooms are well appointed and maintained. I think that you will be hard pressed to find a better place for your money. Would recommend this hotel to any kind of traveler.

Dream hotel is in a good location, away from the bustle of the Silom however only 4 stops away on the Sky train. The staff were friendly and efficient. Used the gym - small but covered all the bases. Plenty of restaurants near by. Didn't try the restaurant. Would definitely stay here again on my next visit.

Most comfortable bed in Asia

Red light district

The staff are extremely friendly and the beds are the most comfortable in all that I have tried in Asia. The location is a little hard to find but is actually close to everything. The blue lights are fun and the bathroom like the rest of the decor is ultra modern. The breakfast is also yummy and I recommend booking a reservation that includes the breakfast fee.

Nice room, comfortable bed, flat screen TVs were excellent, hotel staff extremely friendly, gym is nice.

Pool closes too early.

We stayed in a junior suite in Dream 1. The room was well appointed, comfortable. Blue ambient light was nice, and the flat screens in each room were great (we could hook up our own external media players, which is a bonus). The bathroom was a bit small, sliding door not very private if you aren't staying with a partner. View was crap, but that's not why you're in Bangkok. Location on Sukhumvit was nice - yay for mass transit.

Great wifi connection, modern decor, friendly staff, great variety of dishes provided for breakfast buffet. Only two blocks from Bed SupperClub & Qbar

Prices of alcoholic beverages were a little overpriced, but wasn't too much of a problem.

Loved it here from the moment we got when Giant the Doorman/Concierge greeted us. Quick check-in; stayed in Building 2 which was across the road. Wasn't far from Beer Garden as well as Sukhumvit Road(less than 3 mins walk to the Sky Train; Asok Station). Great breakfast selection and fruits. Complementary fruit plates and sweets were left in the room daily - which was very sweet. The rooms were very spacious; exactly like in the pictures, clean, and bathrooms were modern as well. Felt quite safe in this location, as guards were always around 24/7 (even when crossing the road, they would stop traffic). Had a few laughs with the doormen (very friendly people) Recommend it to anyone, and would definitely stay here again!!

Restaurant Tip : If you ever get the chance, theres a great restaurant down Sukhumvit Soi 55. Take the Sky Train to Thong Lor (only two stops away). Korean BBQ all you can eat 290THB. Well worth the price (actually went there twice).

Good location, nice room, free internet, good breakfast, nice personal

The bed could be more soft.

In contrast to some other hotels, we are very satisfied with our stay at the dream hotel. The staff was very friendly and made everything to fullfill our needs. The room had very good fascilities like plasma TV, DVD player and free Internet. Breakfast was very good. For sure we will come back to Dream Hotel.

Comfy room. Great service. Good location.

I love the service. Everyone's friendly and some even knew me by name. All the staff were very hospitable. The room is very nice and comfortable. Location is good too. Very easy to find good food in the surrounding area. However the hotel is located a little further away from the main street (not far just 2 min walk maybe) so girls walking alone at night shud exercise caution as I saw 2 girls going back to the hotel being followed by a man whom later turned back when he saw them turning into the hotel. Will definitely be back.

wifi does not work in rooms, poor english

The Dream hotel in Bangkok is a nice place to stay. However, the free wifi that comes with your room doesn't actually work; when asked to have someone fix it, we were told the wifi was in the other building and not this one, but the front desk claimed the wifi was in fact there, but all in all it still didn't work. The English speaking staff, don't actually speak English. The rooms are very small and there is something to be said about the bathroom doors( no privacy, and you can really hear everything that is going on; which can be a good or bad thing, depends how you look at it). And the hotel isn't actually black or whatever color they are using, it's white. If you can see past all that, it's not a bad place to stay. Oh, one more thing, no restaurants in the area

Nightlife Tip : soi cowboy is close

Valet parking, charming staff

Big hype about the blue dream lighting. We turned it off at night.

Arriving in the covered drive through is a treat. Greeted at the car door, valet parking whisked away the car, luggage whisked away to reception, Check in ok. Downstairs open and unlike a hotel foyer. The room was a bit small but very comfortable. Egyptian cotten pillows to sink into. Clean modern bathroom.

Nightlife Tip : Sukhumvit has something for everyone!

Nothing special

1. Room seemed great in the night time but everything looked cheap in the morning...... :( 2. We couldn't get the package with breakfast on web so we asked hotel staff about the detail. We were surprised when staff told us it costs 550BHT per person!! (not buffet style.....)

Lots of people told me that we had better to stay at DREAM Bangkok cause it's sooooooo famous so we decided to spend one night at DREAM 1. Actually we were exciting after we saw the lobby when arriving at 11:00pm. Room looked also not bad (even there are only too small beds in the room.......). Lighting, furniture, everything looked so modern then! But the image totally changed in the morning!! Let's just say.... never visit a night club or lounge at day time!!

Modern, Clean and very cool. Centrally located too!

Facilities split over 2 buildings, expensive mini bar.

Outstanding! Very funky rooms, clean and well laid out. The bed was amazingly cumfy and the staff very pleasant and helpful.Bit disjointed in that the hotel and amenities are split across two buildings (with a street dividing), but thats not a major - beware the mini bar charges (but then thats a given).
