Middle-class budget hotel
reasonable price, spacious, close to station
8.3
I think hotels in Bangkok are quite expensive compared to the local prices of goods. So, the rate of this hotel is inexpensive compared to others in the same area, but that does not mean that the hotel offers more than the price. Actually, this hotel's pricing is just reasonable, given what they offer. The hotel is located in a walking distance from a BTS train station, which by is just one station-ride from the city centre Siam, where a lot of shopping complexes are available. There are two things that are notable about this hotel. First, the rooms and corridors smell like urine. You'll notice the ordor every time you come back from the outside. It can really bother you if you care about it. Second, the hotel guests were mostly South Asians (Indians and Sri Lankans). Some of them don't know how to behave when staying at hotels. So, at one night, they were so noisy until about 1am and disturbed my sleep. I called the reception, but they didn't seem to do anything about it, because nothing had changed after that. To sum up, though the hotel is not as expensive as others, there are reasons for that, and I recommend this hotel to only those who can put up with them. I myself will never come back to this hotel.

terrible - left early at cost
3
Rude staff at check in, demanding deposit - we didn't have this on us in cash and they would not allow us to check in, even though we had paid up-front for the room. After arguement we checked in. Room smelt very damp, shower was broken, room safe was locked and staff never came to open even though we asked twice. Walls were dirty.
Extremely noisy. We stayed one night, the hallways are tiled so all noise echoes in hall. Hotel was very popular with families who seemed to pay no respect to anyone else as they shout, sing and slam doors at 1am, 2am, 4am and 6am!!
We checked out early even though this lost us money on our second night.
Not easy access to station.
The worst hotel I have stayed in.
