nice hotel in centre bangkok just few minutes from patpong street and walk distance to shooping centre
hotel avaible for family and also for young people
if you need are good hotel is one where you can stay
just one more things - the hotel was one of the first big hotel in this city and for this he need some work
but i recomend this hotel

What can I say? The staff, rooms, decor, location, the whole feel of the place.. and the food is fabulous They charged 2,300 THB to transfer me from the airport to their hotel.. A meter taxi costs only 400 THB.. Quite a rip off.. I was very impressed with the Dusit Thani hotel and will be staying there again when I am next in Bangkok.
As soon as you walk through the door of the hotel, swiftly opened by the very attentive bellboys, an air of calm descends, aided by fantastic air conditioning and the scent of lemongrass upon your nostrils..
The staff really do bend over backwards to help and do not loiter for tips at all.. They are very grateful should you choose to do so however!
The breakfast at this place is something that I already miss, if you can think of it they have it!
The bed was so comfy, the bathroom perfect.
The only downside was the transfer charge from the airport to the hotel.. 2,300 THB, which compared with the 400 THB I paid next time in a metered cab proves quite a rip off..
Nevertheless I shall be back!
Hotel Feature Tip : Get the bellboys to get you a taxi outside the front door, they use only cabs that WILL put the meter on and this will mean you pay a reasonable fare. The bellboys also give you a little slip with the request to take you back to the Dusit on the reverse in Thai.

the profession of service in general the hotel is nice. However there were some experiences I didn't expect in a 5 stars hotel and hope the hotel could improve in the future.
1. We booked for non-smoking rooms, but we got the rooms on a smoking floor, without any notification. We smelled smoking and found out by ourselves.
2. They precharged certain amount via credit card. It would be fine if they told the customer while doing it. However we received the message about the spending from bank, and then knew this by asking the reception.
3. Once we stood in front of the reception and looked at the service ladies, but no one came to serve us or gave us a look.

Great decroated lobby entrance, Walking distance to the night market The temp of the water for the shower is not stable
The elevator lift is little bit aged Dusit Thani Hotel is worth my money to stay considering it's inexpensive for a five stars hotel, delicious breakfast buffet, and very easy to access to the night market. This hotel also offer varieties of selections for the restaurants, which is good for formal or causual dinning. I will stay here again next time visiting Bangkok

When you arrive at the hotel the reception is very expressive with the custom bow followed by a very genuine smile and welcome speech. The hotel is pretty especially in the common areas, once again if you went to one of the many restaurants the service was very good and the variety was extensive. My favourite meal is breakfast and I have to say, they have the best in Bangkok.

This hotel is an excellent deal. You get way more than what you pay for. Location is excellent with both the subway and SkyTrain just a 2 minute walk out front of the hotel. Even better that it is Thai owned.

Complimentary fruit kebabs by the pool were an excellent touch.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Facial at Topaz in Silom Village is excellent and only 500 Baht.

The location of the Dusit Thani cannot be beat. It is in the center of town steps from both subway and Skytrain lines. There are no drawbacks that I can think of. The pool was somewhat small and not really very good for swimming. The Dusit Thani Hotel is almost perfect. The room was large, clean and very well-maintained. The staff are all freindly to a fault and speak very good English. Breakfast was wonderful with a huge variety of excellent international foods. My room was very quiet with a nice view of the park. The gym is one of the best hotel gyms I have ever used.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Be sure to visit the park right across the road from the hotel. It seems to be a place which is much-used and much-loved by Thais.

This hotel needs a face-lift. Thankfully, I booked through Agoda, had I booked directly, the value for money would not have been good.
Restaurant Tip : The food at the nearby Jim Thompson Saladaeng Cafe is terrific. To walk to it takes less than ten minutes at a leisurely pace.
