Formerly known as the Empress Bangkok Hotel, the Eastin Hotel & Spa is located right in the heast of Bangkok’s main commercial and tourist district.

I have stayed in many hotels and found that ordering room service is more expensive than the restaurants. This is not the case with Eastin. However, the restaurant does serve a good variety of delicious meals for lunch and dinner.

In all, Eastin is still a good choice, for the walking distance to a very good massage palour nearby and to the Indra shopping district.
- Shopping Tip : Shopping at Indra Square and the market nearby is good and cheap. Do try the massage parlour round the corner too (opposite D'ma Hotel), cheap and good.
