Good place.
Good services.
Tidy and clean. The breakfast is not better than before fix up.

newly renovated eastin. rooms are clean and breakfast buffet is great pool is really cold. If anybody is noise sensitive (though Bangkok is then anyhow the wrong place), you can hear the highway slightly. But really slightly.
Shopping Tip : not far from MBK and Siam Square

- Hotel renovation is quite new and creates a comfortable atmosphere.
- Breakfast is healthy with a good variety of fruits. Excellent to eat more fruits to prevent getting sick in Bangkok's hot weather.
- Facilities are impressive - Eastin has the customer experience interactive system - i.e. customers can surf net using the keyboard and TV in the room.
Location is less than ideal - it's about 15-20min walk from Pratunam Centre and Platinum Fashion Mall. Would have been better if it were nearer to these two shopping malls. However by cab it's only 10min to MBK and Pratunam area. Cab in Bangkok is metered and cheap.
Would come back to Eastin again if it costs the same. Otherwise would want to try other good hotels too.
Shopping Tip : Shopping tip: Cheapest place to shop in Bangkok is Chatuchak. Go to Chatuchak first, followed by Pratunam area, MBK, Lumpini night market and Siam Square for things that you did not manage to buy at Chatuchak.
If you buy >2 quantities when shopping at Pratunam area, you can ask whether there is any discount / wholesale price. That can save you 10% to 30% off the quoted price.
If you want a metered cab, walk 1min to the T-junction on the right side of the hotel. Cabs right in front of the hotel usually asks for a negotiated fixed rate, which is higher.

Modern furnishings, brand new refit The Eastin is a clean modern boutique style hotel,with newly renovated rooms. Reasonably handy for the skytrain.Bit difficult to find.Restaurant lacks choice and ambience. Rooms spacious and very clean and modern. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of international foods. Staff very helpful.Parking on site.

Excellent hotel. Very new. Modern decor in the room. Definitely stay again. I think I got a good price as well approx USD 74 Inc tax. I think it is close to a five star but they only put 4. A lot better than all other hotels in BKK for this price.

Location of Hotel is reasonable if you want to walk to the shopping areas. By taxi or tuk-tuk no problem: about 10 min to the big shoppingcentres.
Easy to reach by car. Close to the new station that connects the skytrain with Suvarnabumi Airport.

Five star quality for a great price. We extended our stay and chose Agoda to make the arrangements because they were cheaper than the hotel itself could offer. Poor tour company at the hotel An excellent hotel boasting spacious, comfortable rooms with all the mod cons, including excellent internet access. Great breakfast and very friendly, helpful and courteous staff. We particularly enjoyed a couple of evening meals at the downstairs restaurant which weren't much more pricier than the local restaurants.
The main shopping market areas are within walking distance from the hotels,
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Go visit Suphanaphumi Travel Co Ltd situated just around the corner from the hotel at 1091/74 Soi Petchburi 33, Petchburi Road, Makkasan, Tel 0-2651-7203-5 and speak to Nisa. She will arrange all tours, accommodation and bus, train and flights. She is very efficient and great value. She arranged all of our bus travel to Chiang Mai, back to Bangkok and down to Phuket and Phi Phi Island and then a flight back to Bangkok. Her accommodation prices were excellent too - definitely worth a visit if you have travel arrangements to make!!!

Great staff. Good restaurants Situated away from the main tourist areas - but great for shopping. A really good hotel with all the mod cons. The staff were exceptionally good and were very helpful. The rooms were spacious and internet was free. The room included breakfast and the food in the restaurant was excellent. The hotel itself is situated a bit far from the central tourist areas in the city centre but it is quite near the shopping complexes. Decent restaurants are also quite some distance from the hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : A trip to the floating market is mandatory

A little bit far away from the city center. In my opinion a very nice, modern, reasonable and comfortable Hotel, that I would recommend for business and also private stays. Even though its not in the city center, most important places are quickly reached by sky train or taxi. Good service and friendly staff. The rooms are clean, modern and well equipped with Internet and WLAN over the TV. Bathroom new and clean. Breakfast: a big variety of anything you like. Reasonable price for the room. The only disappointment: there´s no sun at the pool site until afternoon.

Everything was great, especially the service, breakfast and location. and location We had a great time here, loved the Tv/Internet and the staff were incredibly friendly who let us use their facilities even after we had checked out.

Newly refurbished rooms with good facilities. Location - a bit difficult to get to by car. Pleasant and clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Ask for a room with a view rather than those that back onto a rather grim tower building. Breakfast not as good as you would expect for a hotel of this price - fair variety but cheap quality (no fresh juice, butter, bread and jams all of poor standard).

Traffic jam during rush hour. This is a hotel which is very good for business travelers. The location is in the very center of the Bangkok city. It is easy to reach the main area of business area in Bangkok and shopping center. Only one thing is that there is heavy traffic load around rush hour.
Nightlife Tip : Nice bar in hotel at night.

Nice and comfortable bed, big bathroom. A few minute walk to the biggest IT store and whole sell market of BKK. The hotel is nice and clean. But no sitesee view. If you don't mind to walk to the main street in case you want to travel around because of the taxi in front of the hotel don't like to press the meter.
Shopping Tip : Take a walk a few mins to the shopping mall or to get taxi from the main street instead of get moody by the taxi in front of the hotel.

Very well situated for local attractions and in easy walking distance of local restaurants and markets. Hotel layout was strange. Main entrance was not the reception - you need to take a lift up a floor to get to it to check in which seemed a bit strange. Hotel was modern, clean, tidy and room had everything we required from our 4 day stay.
Restaurant - we only used it for breakfast but can't fault the choice of food on offer and the quality was really good.
Friendly staff that made you feel really welcomed.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Definitely take time to go to the Grand Palace, the reclining Buddha and take a trip on the river. We also went on the river Kwai trip + tiger temple which I would recommend.
We splashed out one night and went to the Banyan Tree Vertigo bar and grill - restaurant is on the roof, 61 floors up and the view was fantastic - expensive to dine here but worth the money for the amazing sights of the city.

New and clean, good breakfast, friendly staff NO AVAILABLE SHUTTLE during our stay, small windows, no wireless in the room The Eastin proved to be an excellent hotel . The check-in was fast, efficient and friendly. The room was quite small with two very narrow windows with no view , but very efficiently appointed. Breakfast was excellent, with a good selection of dishes. It was great to have wireless in the lobby and business center, though it would have been more appreciated to have had it in the room. LAN was available in the room. We particularily chose this hotel because they said on their website that there was a shuttle bus to downtown area. We found that for the four days we were there it was not available. It was apparently being used to take tour groups out of town !! To be fair though , after the second day they did offer us a ride to downtown Cental , which we accepted and appreciated but didn’t feel as comfortable using as we would have the shuttle. The hotel seemed very willing to please in any way they could to make our stay enjoyable. I would certainly recommend it.
