If you look for a nice hotel located centrally in Bangkok - consider Eastin Hotel & Spa. The rooms have high standard with wireless internet access, the staff friendly and service minded. The breakfast they serve is excellent, nice buffet with abundant choices. A highly recommendable hotel offering good value for money.

I have stayed in many hotels and found that ordering room service is more expensive than the restaurants. This is not the case with Eastin. However, the restaurant does serve a good variety of delicious meals for lunch and dinner.

The Eastin is a clean modern boutique style hotel,with newly renovated rooms. Reasonably handy for the skytrain.Bit difficult to find.Restaurant lacks choice and ambience. Rooms spacious and very clean and modern. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of international foods. Staff very helpful.Parking on site.

In all, Eastin is still a good choice, for the walking distance to a very good massage palour nearby and to the Indra shopping district.
- Shopping Tip : Shopping at Indra Square and the market nearby is good and cheap. Do try the massage parlour round the corner too (opposite D'ma Hotel), cheap and good.

Some stalls nearby have great food, not to say cheap!
- Travel tip : There's "mini" money changer at the small convenient stores just opposite the hotel which pays fair.

Actually in Bangkok, you can access everywhere cheaply in a taxi. The location is not that great, unless you like to go to Pratunam. But otherwise, it's easy to get a cab, and rooms are nice and quiet at night.

The lobby was on a higher floor. Seperate lifts to rooms. Good for security.
- Travel tip : Make sure the taxis outside the hotel are metered.

Eastin is a great hotel for families and groups.
- Restaurant Tip : There is a nice little bistro restaurant outside of the hotel to your left across from the D'Ma Hotel that serves great food. They have seating outside if you like to watch the world go by!
