The best feature of this apartment is its location. Access to the MRT (Skytrain) is very easy.
Time to wait for elevator is too long because the hotel has only 3 elevators. Water in Bathtub was not draining well.
This apartment is slightly old fashioned. Maintenance for water leaving in the bathroom was not good.

Location is very convenient and central. Good value for money with a well appointed junior suite.
Best accommodation I have stayed in in Bangkok and this includes the Shangrila and about four others. Great value for money with the junior suites with great views. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The Emporium Suites are well located and convenient to all major shopping centers and transport. Had I known about this before I would have spent more time there. Kitchenette is fully appointed and usable. Furnishings and fittings are of very good quality and standard. Service was great.
Restaurant Tip : The Chinese Restaurant on the EL floor is of excellent quality and service is friendly and efficient. Night views are just great.

We used rooms for 3 people and towels were delivered and replaced for 3, but shampoo and shower gel was did only one and insufficient.
Hotel staff are so friendly and kind both in reception and restaurant. We brought young kids and we feel happy to find DVD player equipped in the room. Hotel location is so close to the spots where we can enjoy shopping/ attractions.

The hotel staff is welcoming and friendly. The basic gadgets like dvd, music system etc., make your stay all the more comfortable. The added kitchenette gives you the option of doing some basic cooking if you are accompanied by small kids.
The bathing area was a little too tight. Rooms lack a full view mirror.
In totality the hotel was good. The added kitchenette gives it an extra edge if you are with small kids. Secondly, the hotel has its own discreet way for going into the Emporium mall by which you can give the regular crowd a miss. The emporium mall has all the brands you need to look out for. The hotel staff is quite accommodating.

The Emporium Suites is a "complete" accommodation experience with everything that a traveller needs. From the spacious and well equipped rooms to the spa-pool-fitness facilities. The service and staff are of course the major assets of the Emporium Suites with the staff being exceptional. I have never felt more welcome in a hotel than I have at Emporium Suites.
The Emporium Suites is my Home-Away-From-Home when in Bangkok and I always feel so confortable when staying there. While the standard of accommodation is excellent, with very comfortable and well equipped rooms, the service and staff are exceptional and it is this special attribute that makes the Emporium Suites the "special" place that it is. There is no other choice of accommodation in Bangkok for me!

Location, room quality, service, gym, convenience
Can be relatively expensive
Emporium Suites is located next to the Emporium shopping center, which is a higher end shopping mall attached to the skytrain. The location is great as using the skytrain one can get to most of Bangkok without having to worry about battling the traffic, or taxis are always downstairs if it happens to be one of the few times when traffic is light.
Check-in is relatively painless, though one needs to show one's passport as is the law in Thailand. Room was excellent- a very large open studio with large flat-screen TV and more than enough closet space for a long duration stay. Needed to ask housekeeping to bring a lot more hangers up, however, as each closet had only 3 or 4.
Rooms have a fridge that one can fill up with goods from the well-appointed grocery store in the attached shopping mall. TV is a large flat-screen, and there is in-room broadband, though it isn't free.
I've found that the prices for Emporium Suites can be quite variable. We got a great deal during our last stay here but the cost had increased dramatically during one trip (prior to the economic crash and political issues) so I would be sure to check prices before planning one's trip around the hotel as there are many options at the same price level.
The breakfast buffet was good but not exceptional. We didn't check out the restaurant in the evening as there are so many options in the Emporium mall or nearby.
Restaurant Tip : Not far from the hotel is an excellent Thai fusion restaurant set in a converted house called Maha Naga. Google it for the website with phone number and map.

spacious room with kitchen
The hotel location is really convenient and we enjoyed shopping at Emporium and Naraya, Fuji super... etc all nearby the hotel.
Our child also enjoyed playing in the park right beside the hotel everyday before beginning activities.

Location, decoration, spacious room, great shower.
Information lacked - I found out as I was leaving that there was an easy access into the Emporium Department Store. I thought it very silly not having been told about this upon check-in.
This was my second stay and much more improved from about 4 years ago. Our Twin share room was a dream. We had an incredible view on the 28th floor and enjoyed sunrise in the morning. Staff were good as is normal in Bangkok at this standard of hotel. Concierge staff were specially good though when it came to helping us during our stay. It was sanctuary after roughing it in Laos. Will want to go back next time I am in Bangkok.
Restaurant Tip : Sonie's - Sukhumvit Soi 31 on cut across road to Soi 23. Best food in the world. I miss it already and it's only ben a few days.

The best view in Bangkok.
We stayed at many hotels in Bangkok over the years, but this is the best. The service and the staff is excellent. The view is wonderful. We also like the location. Is near to Skytrain and best of all is the shopping at the Emporium. This is for sure the best hotel in Bangkok.

Great location, staff, convenient etc. Rooms nicely appointed.
Pricey- on value for money scale you get what you pay for but still a bit over-priced.
Great location and have stayed here many times over the years, but I find there are some better values out there. The pluses are the location and convenience to sky train. The problem is they charge accordingly for that. Still if you don't mind paying up for a clean, isolated, protected, convenient environment its hard to beat Emporium. I will say the bathrooms are a bit out dated, my shower head didn't work well and for the price I would expect newer bathrooms that function better.
Restaurant Tip : Nice views

Location. The room is bigger than a hotel of the same price range.
Swimming pool closed at 8PM, I like swimming before I go to bed. Deluxe Studio has a bathtab but no shower booth.
The location is great and this is why I chose this hotel, though Emporium Shopping complex is much smaller compared to Siam Paragon or Central world. Easy access to BTS, but Phrom Phong is not the most combinient station, you need to change trains at Siam. Facilities are not that great, breakfast is good but not excellent, a little bit more than 4-star I rate.
Shopping Tip : The supermarket in Siam Paragon has better durians than in Emporium shopping center.
