Good location but pretty average hotel

stayed here for three nights after a couple of weeks away and booked a junior suite as we wanted the extra comfort and space that the room should have provided, we definitely had extra space but the comfort was lacking.
the location is great, easy 10 minute walk to mbk and siam centre, if you don't feel like walking you can take the skytrain which is about 100 metres away, seven eleven is just out front.
the size of the room was great but everything else was pretty average. the double bed was small and hard as a rock. the shower was a bath/shower combo, the shower rose was one of the handheld varieties and with a fabric shower curtain you had to be careful to make sure the water didn't leak all over the floor. the hand basin plug didn't work properly.
in the lounge/dining/kitchen area there was a small two seater sofa, lcd tv and a dining table with two chairs. if you're considering staying here with more than two people, don't. the alure of two balconies is short lived as they are only about 60cms wide. if you downgrade the balcony is wide enough to fit a chair
all things considered i believe there a better accommodation options in bangkok that are in a similar price range.
this hotel is geared for a single business person.

i have been to bangkok several times but this was my first trip as a solo female traveller so my most important concerns were location and safety. i don't think i could have made a better choice than evergreen place. the hotel is just a minute or two from ratchathewi bts and about 5 minutes walk from mbk. the delux room is styled like a one bedroom apartment with a separate kitchen and dining room and the whole hotel is very clean. there is a huge pool on the 8th floor and a small gym. the breakfast buffet was great with a variety of western and asian foods and plenty of fresh fruit. i would definitely stay at evergreen place again.
Travel tip:
In the evening, food carts set up just outside the hotel entrance, try the banana pancakes, they are fabulous!

this hotel ranks highly on trip advisor and on some levels i can understand why. it is low-cost and the location is fine. the hotel itself is standard for about a 2-3 star. breakfast was pretty average even if it was included. staff definitely helpful and friendly though. not sure i would stay here again.

That is a nice hotel n convenient location as such price even the style is a bit old fashion especially the lobby and no grand entrance.
Only one I complained that is the loosed hair still leaving at stand bath after make up the room and the breakfast is just ok, compared with Arnoma hotel, EG' breakfast is below standard!!
