Great location, friendly staff excellent breakfast
2 mins to sky train, excellent buffet breakfast, pool, good sized room

we are a couple in our sixties, but independent travellers. we booked this hotel for its convenient location 2 mins from ratchathewi skytrain. easy travel to the centre of bangkok and also the airport. we were surprised at the size of our room and full kitchen. we could walk across the klong and there were restaurants across rama i rd. the breakfast buffet was another plus - vast range of western and eastern hot and cold dishes and delicious fresh fruit. they were all topped up regularly. swimming pool and gym were also freely available as well as free wifi internet. printing is available for a small cost. we would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Excellent hotel with acceptable location
friendly and well-mannered staffs

i am very impressed with this hotel except that it is located inside a little road. even though so, a short walk out will be easy access to many places, however, it is not easy to cross the road though.
Shopping Tip:
Famous Pratunam market is just 10 minutes walk away provided you know your directions well. Platinum mall is round the corner as well.

Old but nice hotel in the heart of Siam

Close to MBK!
Great location - walking distance to MBK.

The best part about this hotel was the location - we could easily walk to MBK and the other shopping areas nearby. The rooms in this hotel were a little old but were clean. The pool and pool area was good.Breakfast was very ordinary and don't even bother with room service - not good.
I was annoyed with the 'free tour' that was offered that we got taken to a gem place after we had been in to see the Grand Palace. It wasn't mentioned in the brochure and I didn't want to go there but had no choice so had to wait at least 30 minutes before we could go because we were in a group.
Travel tip:
If you are looking for a good place to eat, go the the Vie Hotel (across the road) - the buffet was great and offered good variety.We also had lunch at the Asia Hotel and that was good too. If you could get a good rate I would stay at the Vie or the Asia Hotel - same location but looked much nicer.

A convenient located hotel

evergreen place bangkok is close to bts station and within walking distance to mbk mall, siam discovery, siam centre.....etc. the room is large and clean and with pantry. the breakfast included is tasteful though not too much choices. in general, it was a good experience and will visit again.

This is my 3rd time at Evergreen and will not stay elsewhere. I will definitely stay here again. It is close to shops (5-10 mins walk to MBK, Paragon etc). There are a variety of restaurant and food store nearby so you won't be stuck for food options, there is also a convenience store and a taxi/tuk tuk area just outside the hotel. Ratchathewi train station is a 3min walk away.
Shopping Tip:
If you happen to be in Bangkok on a weekend, make sure to visit Chatuchak markets (the biggest markets in Asia). You will find anything there, anything! Best way is to catch the train/bts/mrt for roughly 40baht.

it is close to bts, just 3 minute walk. and it is just 1 bts station away from siam. you could actually walk to siam with 10 minute. do shopping at siam square, siam discovery...etc wide range of food to choose for breakfast. wifi is strong inside the room

this hotel was not too bad but we experienced some difficulty with the a/c in our room and a few of the staff we found to be less than friendly. but that seems to be the norm in asian hotels (not all of them, but a good chunk of them). the bell staff were very nice though and rather helpful. the location of the hotel was a little odd (entrance wise) but not so much at fault of the hotel, but seemed a little inconvenient sometimes.
overall hospitality was not too bad, but not sure i'd go back.

Big room, polite service and good breakfast

we booked 2 deluxe room, but they upgrade our room to 2 bedroom suite. this is a lovely move. they have provide a delicious breakfast. everything is clean and the service also polite. furthermore, they can speak english. only the main entrance of hotel is not so good. it was hiding in the small street between 2 building. but i think the cleaningness at the main road to hotel will improve after the construction of the neighbour building complete.
