location is easy to find and near center of siam,
provide 2 swimming pools room is rather old and get some smell hotel location is easy to find, if you turn right, walk 10 to 15 mins for bts, and 30 mins walk to mbk, quite near the center of siam.
if turn left, walk 10 to 15 mins to pratunam market, 20 to 25 mins to central world.
hotel have a new wing but not for me, all 2 wings provide 2 swimming pools for guest. but the room is rather old and get some smell overthere. however, this still a cheap and good hotel and i will live next time.
Shopping Tip : go bts and go mbk and siam shopping mall

Good hotel, excellent location just walking distance from markets and shopping malls, friendly staff. little bid old especially the tower facing the main road. but the condition was good. Breakfast was not part of the inital offer at Agoda and $10 for breakfast was too much. One can easily find good breakfast in the hotel just at the walking distance Excellent experience at First Hotel. Recommended for all types of travellors. In my case the staff upgraded the room at no extra cost to convienently accomodate the baby cot.

Hotel staff were very helpfull and friendly. no facilities in the room for muslim guests Perfectly situated in the centre of town.The hotel was up to standard.The rooms were lovely and the service was outstanding.Finding our way around town was no problem because there were taxi's available to and from the hotel.Overall we had an unforgettable stay at the First hotel.

I stay in the first Hotel for three days, then i found it comfortable and very close to shopping centre then extended for another three days, Both bookin were made via agoda because I found agoda price is the most reasonable price compared to other agencies. in fact I found agoda very efficient and fast in response , I recommend agoda for the other travelers who wish to travel and get good hotels with reasonable price,

It is strategically located within the shopping areas of bangkok, actually just a few steps away from the pratunam shopping area. It is in the main street, food and other needs is just within the vicinity. some rooms have unpleasant smell. Maybe time to replace some carpets and curtains. My wife found the location very comfortable to her desires (shopping). The pratunam area was just very satisfactory to her, with lots of choices either inside the mall or on the street. Food is also very affordale and she find foodstreet very exciting yet tasteful. The hotel location is too convenient considering it is along the main road, you don't have to walk far to get a taxi, and even if you come late at night or early dawn, you can feel very secured.Package tours are also very affordable and in fact cheaper at the agencies inside the hotel, and hotel pick-ups are also available.
Travel tip : when you go shooping just walk to pratuman area either to the mall or on the street.

nearby BTS so that easy to go any famous places such as Pratunam market .lot of nice hawker food stall once come out of the hotel. little bit dirty,and old. need to be renovated. we stay for 3 day 2 night in the First hotel, the location is very good because it no too far away, may able to get special Thai food around the hotel. wee are the budget traveler, so the value for money staying in this Hotel is cheaper n this is our budget... for the condition, we stay in standard room is near to emergency exit, a bit noise near the toilet but i don't think is toilet fan noise, only this make us feel not comfort...

Good service, Cheaper price, convinience place to shop. bath room shower water presure too low. TV channel receiver not good and can not see the MTV channel. A convinience to shop at whole sales market like platunam and many other place. And also a convinience place to buy food at 24 hours shops like 7 eleven and family mart.Other then that also have many texsi are waitting at outside hotel to bring us to airport and many other place that we want to go . And at afternoon to night time at outside hotel have many stalls that selling thai local food and we can taste many spicy and yummy thai foods.
Shopping Tip : Near whole sales market like Platunam Centre.

It is in the pratunam area which is ten mins walk to and fro the hotel. The conceige is friendly and helpful. Counter staff nice too. The room is dirty, run down and old. Toilet cannot flush properly and the shower heat is extremely hot and suddenly turn extremely cold. Almost got myself burned. Overall the stay is okay for the amount me and my sister paid. We chose this hotel because it is in the pratunam area so that we can walk back to the hotel after our shopping at pratunam and central world. However, besides the location and friendly staff. There's alot of cons on the room itself. The room is abit smelly, give us a dirty feeling. The room is run down. The toilet cannot flush properly causing a stuck and the shower heater is making me having a hard time bathing due to the very sudden change of temperature from very cold water to extremely hot water. The room is small and the massage is bad.
Shopping Tip : Pratunam is the shopping paradise, ten mins walk. :)

City Center, lots of shopping around the hotel within walking distance. Not much food restaurants around, traffic is bad. It's a great hotel to stay if you want to do a lot of shopping. Not for food seekers
Shopping Tip : Great bargain all around, fashion wholesalers in every directions, Platinum Shopping Mall is the best. Better put on your best walking shoes because you need it.

Good location, cheap, a perfect place to just rest after a busy day of shopping The attitude of the staff The location is strategic, within walking distance to a few shopping malls and Siam Square. The price is very reasonable, and the beds are comfy. A perfect place for a good night's sleep after shopping, and within walking distance to the BTS station.

clean bed with no bed bugs, 24hrs stores such as 7-11 and Burger King nearby, access to all the major shopping malls on foot, the ease of public transport such as taxis or Skytrain. The toilet and the air con vent is leaking non stop, it eventually disturbed my sleep. Unfriendly staff, the only friendly staff was the lady we met on the first day, others are so snobbish. Stay at this hotel if you really just wanna do some serious shopping. We eventually shopped till we dropped. Its so convenient to travel with Skytrain which is only a 5min walk frm the hotel.
Thank God the bed was very clean, no bed bugs! But the other staff should learn to smile as the faces are like having PMS!
Do not take taxi or tuk tuk outside the hotel, it's better to hail one at the street. The stupid tuk tuk driver outside our hotel took us for a joyride before he sent us to our destination, so that he could get free petrol tokens. He did not charged us for our trip but we were pissed coz he wasted our time!

Staff are cheerful and helpful with any queries you might have The air conditioning could not be adjusted and the room had some wall paper that was peeling. The bedspread was kind of old too. Stay at First hotel was generally pleasant. The service was good and staff were helpful. Location is a great plus as it is close to MBK, Siam Square, Pratunam Shopping centre etc. The cons of the hotel are that the rooms appear to have quite old decor and the bedspread looks rather old. However, the double room we booked was large enough to have a third bed put in.
Shopping Tip : You can walk to MBK and Siam square. Beats paying for taxi everytime you go.

Fast and efficient when checking-in and checking-out.
Near & a walking distance to famour shopping mall. I have to personally call for room cleaning.
No coffee provided. If i were to book hotel, i'll definitely will come to agoda.com to search for hotel prices. Anyway, it has the lowest rate among other sites.
Shopping Tip : It is only 5-10 minutes walking distance to the famour shopping mall - Platinum Fashion Mall. The mall has so many shops that you will have to go back again. Hence, First Hotel will be the best place to book your room.

2) Room view of the carpark 1) Upon check-in, the staff attending to me was rude & has no patience to answer my enquiries.
2) At night, requested for hot water. Only came after 2nd reminder. Requested for drinking water cause we drank all, didnt come at all.
3) Room was clean but the condition of it looked a little run-down.
Those were the main issues. The stay was still decent for a 3star budget hotel, but price should be cheaper.

Near the Wholesale Market where you find a good selection of women clothing. My room Air-cond. did not work very well.
My Booking does not include buffet morning breakfast. The First Hoel is in a very good location, where the shopping complex is nearby, i.e. The Platinum, World Trade Centre, The Pathtunum Shopping Complex , and the roadside stall along the five foot way. The women clothing wholesale market is also nearby. Eating stalls and Fast food outlet is walking distance. Transport is not a problem.
Travel tip : Watch out for the Tutu/Taxi in front of the Hotel, you will be taken for a ride!
