clean, great staff, great value for money we arrived after visiting in different hotels in Bangkok. the First Hotel wa the best by far. the value for money is great. the hotel steff were serious and good. the location is great. close to shoping area and to train. the breakfast was not too good though.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : on the main road, go west and stay on the hotel's side. there is a great massage place 200 meters from the hotel.

First hotel is ok hotel for this kind of money.\nThe best thing of the hotel is the location, its very close to Phantip plaza and Pratunam and ther for execellen for go shopping, its also not long to World trade and Big C. One other thing good its is near a big road and its ther for easy too geat a taxi. Bad things about the hotel, rooms are old and smell bad because of the carpet who many people have lost food and drinks of. Breakfast is ok, have europe food and asia food. So to sumit up, decent hotel for this kind of money.

Big hotel with upscale feeling....some indian vegeterian food on lunch and dinner menu...very close to the skytrain..pool though it was shadded Room was bit run down as well as the beds and linens(though I stayed in the old wing)...not much in the free breakfest for vegetarians In a pinch for savings I would stay there again..though I would rather pay 10 USD more and stay up the street at the best western mayfair...the breakfest had many food option(huge)though no veggie food besides pineapple mellon and bread
Travel tip : Curry potato cutlet for vegetarians...Somasas also

Big clean rooms, nice stuff and very tasting food. wished they have had bacon at the breakfast buffet at the restaurant downstairs. We use to stay at First Hotel and have done it the latest 3 years. It is always nice to come back. The location is very close to all shopping around. The rooms are very nice with aircon, big beds, nice bathrooms and of course very nice and helpful stuff. The price is reasonable for this kind of hotel. You have everything that you need at the hotel like, massage, travel agency, nice restaurants, hairdresser. We warmly recommend this hotel and we will stay here at our next visit in Bangkok again.
Shopping Tip : Siam paragon, MBK, Baiyok and of course the market nearby Baiyok

Location near skytrain, easy to access. Food poor, too crowded.... To me the advantage is in the location, easy to find, near skytrain. Other things are moderate, room moderate, cleanliness moderate, staff moderate. Food is poor, very few choices, food replenish slow. Hotel facilities overall ok, but a bit old. Generally it is good if u need a convenient hotel to move around. Traffic around is bad, so train is a good option.
Shopping Tip : Convenience to shopping at Siam Paragon, just 10min from hotel.

I liked the kindness of the personnel, the hotel was clean, good service, it was efficient. Location is good, The breakfast is different, too much thai food for this time. There were some insects in the bed. Not good channels in the TV The hotel was very clean, the service was good and efficient, the pool was nice, towels, pillows and everything was on its place, at the right time. Location is very good, it is near markets and we could walk to the main malls and markets too. but no good breakfast and TV.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Do not miss the Grand Palace, it is awesome!
You will find a lot of things to buy nearby also

Friendly and helpful front desk, Better than adequate buffet breakfast,willingness to do what is humanly possible to fulfil your additonal requests. Nothing that really matters --maybe a leaky tap--or no hair dryer . I have stayed at the FIRST many times,yes there are other hotels for similar money and I have tried a few of them but for REAL value for money,the ease of getting to the main places you want eg.Pantip Plaza--Pratunam Market--Big C Department Store--and Mahboonkong Shopping Centre ,to name just a few,look no further.If you don't care about the hotel being a little older but making up for that by GOOD and CLEAN BEDS,do yourself a favour---"Spend what you save on something YOU WANT"

1.The room has very good cost performance, only USD155 for double room, four nights.
2.The breakfast is very good, varieties and tastes are excellent.
3.The waiters are nice and good at English. 1.The TV signal is not good, the picture is not very clear.
2.There's something wrong with the bathtub. On the whole, the hotel has a very good cost performance. The waiters and waitresses are always smiling to you, and ready to help you whenever you meet troubles. They are also good at English, you know in Bangkok, people are seldom good at English. The lobby is very large and magnificent, can compare with that of 4-star hotel like Century Park hotel nearby. The room is also very quiet and the bed is very clean and soft. They makeup your room everyday, but I somewhat don't like the way they makeup the quilt, they put the quilt in the bed too tight that every night you have to exert yourself to drag out the quilt. The breakfast is also included in the booking price, it is really a feast for breakfast, almost anything can be eaten there, and the taste is very good. I like the fresh milk, bread, pineapple, watermelon and always eat so much that I cannot enjoy my lunch. On the whole, I am very satisfied with the hotel and strongly recommend to others who visit Bangkok.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : 1.Do meter on if you go by taxi, otherwise, you will be charged more than double!
2.Do go to TAT, which is a government agency to get a reasonable price for sightseeing!
3.Do go to ladyboy show in Asian hotel and Siam Niramit show!

location, breakfast, room service. room could be cleaner - internet wifi very expensive - tv (not tv5). the old wing, could be cleaner but the location is very central in front of panthip plaza, close of pratunam, so we will return there on our next stop.

This hotel is very near the shopping area and near BTS. I stayed in the tower-building...I hear that it is better than standard-room though I don't know about standard-room in the reality. This hotel became my favorite one.
Shopping Tip : Shopping area is very near this hotel. So start to walk from Pantip Plaza until MBK. It will be a nice walking around the shopping area.

The rooms are dirty and furniture are old, the floor mats in the rooms was dirty. The bathroom is narrow, dirty and towels are old, grey in colour. The blankets are old, broken below. TV does not work.
The phone service was placed in the corridor and its tone sonnante was very strong and very loud.
The only positive thing about the hotel is its central location.
I do not recommend anyone to this hotel even if they are on a budget.

The tower building is new and recommend to stay. The hotel is in the business area specially for garments and computers. Hotel staffs not so friendly, very few staffs with a smile, lobby sitting area looks always full with the people, I feel this hotel is being heavily and cheaply marketed in India. The hotels new tower building rooms are good to stay with good toilet and accessories/amenities. One of the restaurants says open for 24hrs but after midnight staffs are not happy to serve. Please stay away from the old building which is cheaper and not even cleaning properly and really very old with old carpet and walls. They market it cheaper than new tower building, but still can not recommend.
Shopping Tip : Especially garments and related ladies and gents items and computer items are just next to the hotel. But after 9pm, no where to go as all area sleeps.

not clean bed sheet and blanket, bad bathroom and insect's biting we take this hotel just for place but it is not good. It is expensive and with no good serveces, not clean, bad bathroom and bad air conditining.
we used their bedsheet and we didn't sleep that night because not clean and insect's bit us.
i dont like this hotel.
i advice if u want to live in this hotel take with you your own bedsheet
