Air conc. and service

breakfast and toliet

The location is ok, you can find a 7-11 at the opposite, overall the hotel is good vlaue of this price, the worse thing is only the flashing water of the toliet and the hot water are not very stable. i think it is better to exclude the breakfast and make the price a bit lower. coz the breakfast is not good. but for this price, what we can ask?

A cozy hotel that is accessible to all areas like night markets and railway. Nice clean rooms. Quiet and nice place to rest.

Improve breakfast

My first stay at For You Residence is an average experience for me because the location is quite far from the shopping areas and the railway but they have good rooms that are clean and quiet. The staff is friendly, helpful, accommodating, and offered good service. The breakfast is average as it is very simple and don't have choices. Good value for money. One thing i found good in this hotel is we could safely leave our belongings at their storage area as there are guards and cameras.

Good location, easy access and good shopping.

Suspect taxis and tuk-tuk drivers everywhere.

Nice small safe hotel with large well cooled rooms and well maintained. Staff always willing to help and no request ignored. Well maintained and inexpensive internet access available 24/7 in reception area. No room service but of little significance. Very large fridge/freezer in every room. No baths but good showers. Stayed many times with no problems.

Very central location, clean cool rooms, very pleasant and helpful staff and good value for money.

Many dodgy taxi and tuk-tuk drivers hanging about but not dangerous

Have stayed here many times and while it is not 5 star it is very good value for money and excellently located on the main Silom Road. Very good for a 4/5 day stay with all now facilities within 5 minutes, laundry, repair shops, bars restaurants. Good access to expressway to airport.

Location, good price/quality ratio

Traffic noice

My second stay in this little budget hotel that does not pretend to be any fancier than it is. Pleasant basic rooms, floors of dark wood, big windows that you can open, small but functioning bathroom, huge fridge. You choose breakfast from 5 set menus: nothing special but adequate. 800 m to skytrain station, buses stop next to the hotel. 7/11 right on the other side of the road, lots of nice restaurants within a walking distance. As it is located in Silom there is lots of traffic noice - take your ear plugs with you.

-Clean Hotel with lift access -No insects -Big room -My room is being serviced daily -Service oriented staff

-Very hard bed -Stale smoke smell inside the room -Limited choices of breakfast -Noisy room facing road -Very far away from main Silom (Papong Night Bazzar) -It is located at main road but 10Mins walk to Surasak Sky Train.

I stayed in this hotel from 27 JAN to 31 JAN. It's a clean and small hotel but far away from Silom main town area like papong night bazzar. By foot will take you 25mins to walk down. The room is clean with insects free. Be sure to get a room facing the alley rather than the road as the morning jam might woke you up. Overall a nice budget hotel to stay for the budget traveller =D

Centrally situated and near sky train, Patpong and expressway.

Female staff at hotel very helpful if no movement from desk required. No porterage and access to lift difficult with positioning of sub contracted travel agents clutter.

Very handy place to stay and rooms very well maintained. Small shower and even smaller soap. The breakfasts have not improved over the years but the internet access is half the price of local opposition. Hotel taxi is double that of public taxi but main road, Silom Road, presents great opportunities of transport.

Hotel Feature Tip : General manager not the most obliging of people and he is deeply involved in the 'YELLOW SHIRT' protest.

Very convenient location on Silom Road and easy access for expressway

Terrible breakfast, no baths in rooms and generally needs a major spring clean.

Small 6 story building needing a good makeover. Beds are very comfortable and large and every room has a very substantial and efficient fridge.Rooms made up well on a daily basis and the smallest soap in the world replaced daily. Towels could do with replacement as could all the shower units. Not bad but not great

Travel tip : Very convenient location for shopping, transport and nightlife

Easy access to a number of areas of bangkok, including patpong, mbk centre and siam city.

The hotel rooms were very clean and are serviced every day, however in my room there was no hot water in the bathroom, the shower had mold build up and the toilet was constantly blocked and would not flush. The beds are rock hard, and i mean rock hard, the mattress looks to be about 25 years old and has no spring left in it. The noise from the street level also flows into your room, which makes it a nightmare trying to sleep of a night time. The doors are locked at moidnight and you have to knock on the door to enter the lobby, which means waiting for the night worker to wake up and let you in. This is not 24 hour service. the breakfast room is about 5 tables in front of the check in counter lol, the tables are also littered with small ants, so watch what your putting in your mouth. MOst days i went to the restraurant accross the road and paid for my breakfast.

If your looking for somewhere cheap, its fantastic. If your looking for something comforatable and clean dont even bother. The hotel bathrooms are old and outdated, they are full of mould and grime, there is no hot water, it is dirty and the toilets seldomly work. The room itself is presented clean and the beds are rock hard. If this sounds like the holiday you wanted by all means go for it. I checked out half way thru my holiday, and ended up at IBIS in Siam. Its a 4 star hotel and if you do your research you can pick up a standard room with all the works for 700 baht a night. Well worth it as they have porters, a massive breakfast room, hot water, 2 restraurants in hotel, room service and clean. The bathrooms are scrubbed each day and the beds are heavin compared to this hotel

Shopping Tip : Jatuchak market on Saturdays has everything you could imagine. Leave most of your shopping until here. Go early in the morning a taxi should cost you no more then 150 baht, including the tip. It is hot and sweaty but well worth it. Remember to barter the price down and look up every ilse, even ilse that look like they have nothing will have a shop write down the end that has something for you.

good location, value for money.

some room facilities would need upgrade, the bathroom especially, because of little bit broken shower.

convenient place to access Silom or Siam, and also good location for business travelers. a convenient store is located opposite of the hotel. there is variety of stalls near by the hotel. the room was looking old but tidy and clean. the staff is very friendly and helpful. overall it is a good budget hotel for a short stay.

Close to Silom St, quiet enough, good size rooms and decent shower and a huge fridge. Very friendly staff. OK for the price.

Lack of parking.\nStale smoke in the room.

The parking is very hit and miss!! I stayed here primarily for parking and there carpark is for one or two cars guarded by a cone which you remove round the side of the hotel!! It worked for me (but i wonder what would happen if someone parked before me?)

Nightlife Tip : 10 - 15 minute walk back from night market.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the location is very convenient in central district near transport while being safe, and fairly quiet.

Simple fried rice food was not available after 3. It may be nice to make it available up to 7 pm for the footsore and weary shopper returning who does not feel lke a big meal outside. A few extra TV channels would be nice too. Better reading lamps would be nice. The ones provided are too dim to read by in bed.

This is small friendly hotel convenient for the Sky Train and plenty of Taxis along Silom Street, but a little distance from the main shopping area which at Saladaeng which makes it more quiet. Ideal for the short stay business traveler or sightseer who doesn’t want all the fancy hotel luxury extras, like bar service and restaurants, etc. A built in wall safe for valuable is provided. You can take your own padlock or request one. The electronic safes as usual are problematic. The rooms and linen are cleaned daily. One thing if you plan on doing any reading in bed like I do you probably need to get a stronger globe or a better reading lamp. All in all a safe hotel for older folk and families.

Shopping Tip : A new Bookshop of 6 Floors just down Pan Road and along Sathorn Road just past Myanmar Embassy

It is cheap ... but ok.

Staff not really friendly.

I didn't like it there, so I canceled my booking after one night. The staff was not very friendly nor takes good care of their customer. The food was too simple and you can not call that breakfast. Located directly at the main road makes it a little noisy and a massage studio located in the ground floor of the hotel is annoying. Perhaps it is worth the cheap price. Clean and secure.

Very friendly staff and very convenient for motorway and airport. Internet available and is very reasonably priced.

Beware of hawker tuk-tuks and other undesirables wandering around. Staff in hotel will get every thing you need.

Stayed here many times and always welcomed back. No difficulties with booking and travel agent available in the foyer but a little expensive but efficient. Book a taxi for the trip to airport and go by expressway every time. Over the road for 7/11 and up the road for a beer.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Avoid the crawling tuk-tuk's and let the hotel phone for a taxi.

Central, clean, affordable and excellent staff

On main road which is impossible to cross in morning and evening rush hours

Great little serviced apartments hotel. Good staff who are always helpful and eager to oblige. They know their city well and can give much useful advice. Avoid local taxi's and always get the meter on. Negotiate in advance any fare to the airport!
