The hotel is situated in very quite part of town, you can have a peaceful sleep without the city traffic noise and with all the amentiys you would expect including two free bottles of water for each overniht stay. The breakfast buffet is great with wholesome food, western & Thai. The room is luxury at a affordable price, quite air - con with all marble floors & marbled bathroon from floor to ceiling.

Not many, had problems with taxies trying to find the place even with a Thai national giving instructions.

The staff are friendly, speak english well and are eager to help you with any problems. Easy acess to transport, taxi, bus or motor bike & shopping centre & Tops Supermarket within walking distance.Nicely appointed rooms, clean with luxury without the high price tag. Nice swimming pool with sauna gymnasium

Hotel Feature Tip : Swimming pool, Gym and Sauna

Clean Convenient Safe Private Silent

Something old and need to renovate

Forum park is situated in the center of Bangkok. It is convenient to travel, not far from BTS. If you come to work near Sathorn,Rama3,Siam,this is the place I recommmended.

value for money, pool

location, no wireless in rooms, fitness room too small and ill-equipped

The Forum Park hotel is a decent hotel and very inexpensive for what you get. It has a decent pool and the rooms are roomy and clean although not new. The location isn't too convenient for those new to Bangkok but it is not far from Silom road and the sky train. Overall it has good value for the money, especially for the area it is in.

good value for money

breakfast food choice, location

The Forum is a very good value for money hotel, very clean and with helpful staff. Very nice view of the city by night on higher floors. But many rooms smell bad of cigarette smoke, and we had to have room changed on both times we checked in at this hotel even though we asked non smoking. Overall a good choice specially if you have your own transportation. The only sweet food available at the breakfast buffet is jam, nothing else.

clean, big room, nice pool

weak hot water, fitness room tiny, breakfast nothing special

I was pleasantly surprised that this hotel which is old is still in good shape and quite clean. It is not very conveniently located for first-time tourists to Bangkok, but it isn't far from Silom/Patpong area and the skytrain. For the money, you can't beat it as it has a pool and free breakfast, a decent-size room, free wi-fi in the lobby!

Loved it! Guest Rating: 9.7

Very tidy, neat and clean, polite helpful staff, great breakfast, very easy to get to skytrain and Silom area

The only problem was that not many taxi's knew where it was, got a translated location card from the hotel and that solved the problem

I knew of this place from my days as a teacher in this area, it was and still is a favorite place for lunch, they do a great eat all you can. I booked on the internet and had now problems, was told on arrival that I had been upgraded as I has requested a non smoking room. The hotel is close to the skytrain, some days I took a cab, but I found it faster to take a motorcycle located at the entrance to the Soi, it cost 40 baht to get to the "satani lot fai far" or the electric train station in the sky. At Rama 3 is Central which has pretty good shopping. You can use the songtows for additional adventures, at 5.5 baht a trip, they are great. The breakfast here is part of the deal and it has a very good spread, I never got to use the swimming pool but will do so next time as I will bring the whole family

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Use the songtows and explore, they do a circuit and stop at one end and then return to the other, you will see the non tourist side of Bangkok. Go the the end of Soi Chan and you are at the river, turn left and you can catch the ferries at the Wat, a narrow entrance to the soi, or turn right at Chareun Kreung and you will eventually come to the Taksin Skytrain. Ferries are a great way to see Bangkok and you beat a lot of the traffic, get your map out.

Budget hotel

Location

I wanted to keep my room until 6 PM because my plane was leaving late. I found out that making a 1-day booking through Agoda was actually cheaper than paying to the hotel for the extended stay. I had a nice day shopping and in the afternoon, swimming in the pool. :)

Balcony in every room, pool

Location far away from everything, expensive internet

This is a good hotel for budget travellers who don't mind staying away from the main attractions (and who can use local buses) - and who don't expect much from the hotel. They really should re-furnish the rooms. I got a smoking room and they claimed that it was a non-smoking one - the was a distinct tobacco smell and an ashtray on the table... Nice pool, the shuttle bus to Sathorn was not there every day. Very expensive internet, no possibility to print.

big room. pool view. Quiet pool. Good breakfast.

quite far out of town. you end up catching taxi's everywhere - which means sitting in many many traffic jams.

Me and my girlfriend were backpacking therefore we have come to Thailand not expecting to receive great luxury's and because of that we found the forum park to be an okay place to stay for a few nights and relax by the pool. The hotel itself is quite big but very worn - it needs a really good overhaul and gives you the feeling that it was a good hotel maybe 20 years ago - none of the fittings have been changed since then I would imagine. The breakfast is really good with a very large selection to choose from and the restaurant serves decent food in the evenings also (however there is no atmosphere as only a handful of people choose to eat there - and they have about 50 tables!). There is nothing in the immediate area however sathorn and silom are not too far away (depending on traffic). All in all I would stay there again if I just wanted to relax by the pool - if you want to do a lot of sight seeing then you may be better placed getting a hotel in another area.

Hotel Feature Tip : get a card with directions to the hotel from the reception so that you can give it to the taxi drivers as they can have trouble finding it.

clean, quiet at night, large room. several English TV channels, good breakfast

difficult to find, most staff unfriendly, not really gay friendly

Would not stay there again.

Hotel Feature Tip : There is actually a bus stop on the road outside the hotel and bus no. 64 will take you along Sathorn Road. If you get out at the first or second stop after the bus does the u turn in Sathorn Road it is only a short work to Silom and Patpong market.
