The Breakfast was fantastic, focussed with a la carte freshly cooked eggs to order. Service was to a very high standard. The ambience is more heritage than modern, a bit like being in a mansion. Proximity to the big shopping complexes and skytrain.
Rooms are a bit dated and small for the price, and some may see it as needing a freshening up. Wasn't pleased with concierge when we were taking a taxi back to airport, as they had some deal with taxi drivers where we were paying quite a bit more as an upfront price. We opted for the metre after some arguing. Later, the driver said that he had to pay the hotel 100 Baht to pick up customers there, and so they had a deal to build that into the price. Not happy.
Four Seasons presents as a historic mansion as apposed to the ultra modern, high rise 5 star hotels around. This is pleasant in a way and has its own charm. The F & B is of a very high standard and the prices reasonable with a selection of Italian, Japanese, and a spice market restaurant. The rooms are quite small and dated and could do with a good renovation, and so makes the value not as good as others.

nice rooms, great size. excelent bathroom amenities
even though marble bathrooms, the color of the marble was hideous. its like a cement grey/black. mini bar is outrageous even though its a 5* hotel. that is petty to charge 8 times what a soda normally costs. shame. pure greed, not profit
nice hotel, great service. thats what you really area paying for here. staff was warm and polite, even had jasmine tea on check in. nice style.
