-Very nice staff
-Nice and clean hotel
-Close to all the department stores
-
-Should be more to pick from at the breakfast buffee
I think the hotel was great. I didnt expect much but was impressed when I got there. The location is better then I thought. Was slightly worried that Soi 1 was further away, but I could easily walk to the department store within 30-40minutes or take the skytrain or MRT. I never went to the pool or Jacuzzi so I cant give a review on that. If I go back to Bangkok I would definetley stay there again!

Very friendly and helpful staff. A virtual welcoming committee on arival. Close to most everything downtown. A rare find these days! We liked it so much we extended our stay to a full week.
Other than breakfast the food could be better, but it still is not bad. Tour type things are a bit pricey, but well organized. The dinner cruise and the Siam Niramit show were very good, but again quite expensive. We really had no bad experiences in our week long stay.
Ask anything and you will get it quickly. If there is any problem it is taken care of pronto. They even change towels and linens twice a day if needed. The service is the same whether you are in the least expensive room or the most expensive. Guests are treated as valuable and everyone is special. The free buffet breakfast is a real crowd pleaser. I would recommend this hotel to everyone I care about!
Shopping Tip : Within walking distance to all serious shopping venues. Extremely close to Bumrungrad Hospital/International Clinic.

Nice and beautifully decoration.
Breakfast time until 11 am.
Room is big and clean.
Toilet is nice and clean too.
Reception was very nice, specially door man.
The hall way in front of the lift of each floor need to circulate a bit because it feels like no air flow.
They all were very nice starting from door man. The room was very spacious, beautiful and clean. I like breakfast time, its mostly longer than other hotels I ever stayed, until 11 am! And the food is excellent because they were made from our order so the egg / bacon were still hot. I like Furama.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : You can find a lot of things to eat, shopping for fun.

Wonderful breakfast buffet, with a large made-to-order hot food list included.
It is not inexpensive, but worth the extra money even on a budget.
This hotel was very clean and provided many extra amenities such as ironing board, slippers, etc. that are not necessary but nice to have. The hotel is located near the Ploenchit skytrain station. The staff was genuinely friendly and courteous. My wife and I extended our stay here and will be back.
Travel tip : Excellent Middle Eastern street food stalls and Indian restaurants nearby on soi 3.

the staff was very polite, smiling and they really made us feel very welcome. the room was quite big for two people, we stayed in a deluxe room. Very clean and easy to get a taxi from outside the hotel because the hotel is located near by Bumrungrad Hospital.
taking a shower was not the best experience, it was really hard to adjust the water to the right temperature, it was either too hot or too cold.
the location was great for us, we took the express way from the airport and arrived about 30 min after. we did not have to wait in the middle of a traffic jam in Bangkok city. It took less than 10 min to walk to the BTS skytrain station so that was really convenient for us and it only takes two stops to Siam station where all the entertainment and shopping areas are. We would definitely recommend this hotel.
Hotel Feature Tip : tell any taxi driver that the hotel is located at the opposite side of the Bumrungrad Hospital on Sukhumvit soi 1.

Very friendly and helpful staff, clean and spacious rooms with nice interior design. Rooms were well equipped with everything to make you feel "settled" when you're on the go (bathrobe, slippers, safe, iron and board, microwave and even an umbrella!). Value for money.
The shower didn't work well. Water was either too cold or too hot. Location is quite deep into Soi 1 and hence not very safe to walk around at night (even day time perhaps).
Overall it is good value for money. The hotel is quite conveniently located in the Sukhumvit area where the BTS lines are, but it was a little too far deep into Soi 1 and hence wasn't very safe to walk around at night. The rooms were very clean, had no foul smell unlike a lot other smaller hotels, and was very spacious, with a full range of amenities to make you feel "at home" and comfortable when you're living on a suitcase. Warm service and helpful staff.
Shopping Tip : Just walk out Soi 1 to the main road and you're between Nana Station and Phloen Chit Stations to the left and to the right, and the line takes you straight to the centre of the shopping district - paragon, Central world etc.

average hotel in a good location of bangkok
We spend two nights at this hotel and we think it was ok. Not very fancy or anything like that, but the rooms are good for a family. We could easily fit the family in one room which is good when you have young kids that you want to have close to you.
Nightlife Tip : Avoid soi 4 when you traveling with kids.

Upscale hotel. Free Internet. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Good upscale massage service.
Location is not great. Could not print PDF files for me. Room not made up in timely fashion one day. Had to ask for a delivery not made.
I like this hotel. This was my third time. The location is not ideal so I will be looking for another hotel in Bangkok the next time. The fact that they could not print PDF files for me was extremely inconvenient. I had to walk several blocks to an Internet cafe. Price thru Agoda was best, as usual.

The location is excellent, walking distance to shops, food and a cheap taxi ride to other big malls.
The lifts needs up-grading: slow and small.
This hotel is excellent for short or long term stays, it has everything you need and if they dont have it finding it is not far away. It is next to a big hospital recouperating in the hotel enviroment is the best. Taxies are always out side to take you any where and the breakfast is excellent

The breakfast was not delicious.
Staff is very kind. But the location of the hotel is not good. The distance between the hotel and station is long. At night, the in street front of the hotel doesn't have a lot of lights. The room is vast. The view from the window is not good. The hotel does not have a currency exchange, so you have to go to the bank near the hotel.

Convenient location. Recently refurbished. Clean and trustworthy.
I've used several times this hotel for short visits to Bangkok. They're on a good location relatively close to skyline, shopping area and Sukhumvit attractions.
Rooms were refurbished about one or two years ago and they're spacious and always clean and comfortable.
Breakfast is not great, but good enough. Restaurant looks good, but I've never used it. Generally hotel staff is friendly and helpful, although last time I was there I had the feeling that they were less friendly than they were when the hotel was named Unico instead of Furama. Nevertheless it still was a very good value for money, clean, trustworthy and in a convenenient location.
Restaurant Tip : Within a 10-15 minutes walk (depending on how crowded Sukhumvit road is), on Soi 12, you can find two very interesting restaurants Cabbages and Condoms, which offers a different atmosphere and devotes part of your money to helo orevent the extension of AIDS, and a place called Crepes where you can enjoy great French-Thai cuisine in a wonderful garden-terrace. If you like massages, don't leave Sukhumvit without visiting The King and I, the best place for massages I've seen all around Indochine. A little more expensive than the average, but facilities are unbeatably clean, and massages are done by real pros.

room design was OK, some of the staff quite helpful!
only my 1st day has free internet and nothing for the following day as the staff claimed hotel system changed. B'fast is not full buffet style, need order but some of them were mixed up. Hotel not really near the BTS station, not convenient.
I really want to mention the free internet usage in hotel since only 1st day has free internet but nothing for following day as the staff claimed hotel system changed. The staff didn't mention to me upon check in. Also, the room was not clean up very well as so many dust and some ants which i found during my stay.
