Lift is very slow and small. Sometimes I had to wait for five minutes to catch it.
Shopping Tip : Good access to Siam/Silom.

I only booked in here because I had accumulated Agoda points and got 2 free nights, but, having said this, the hotel is in a fairly good location and have all the amenities you might expect.
Nightlife Tip : Walk across the road from the hotel, through the hospital (underneath it) and it will take you out at Soi 3. This shortcut is used by taxi drivers and will save you some time/money!

Ideal for those visiting the hospital but not a tourist hotel
Hotel Feature Tip : The hotel name has changed to Furama so there could be some confusion in finding the location with a local taxi - unless you have a hotel address card with you in Thai.

This is the best hotel all round for the price, I allways stay her while in Bangkok and have no reason to change As above no complaints at all, I have stayed in hotels that charge fore times as much and don't stack up to this hotel.

I would book this hotel again, it was a very pleasant stay.
Nightlife Tip : Visit the night market - only a few minutes by taxi, great food, music and atmosphere.

I would have no hesitation staying there again however I would prefer the new Unico on Asoke in which I stayed last time. The one on Asoke however is a new hotel as opposed to a refurb and has a higher star rating.
Shopping Tip : Art Gallery near the junction with Sukhumvit is worth a visit.

Nice, clean hotel, slightly far from the skytrain but walkable and there are motorcycle taxis if prefered. Very close to hospital so an exellent location if you are getting a check up or procedure.

- Internet access very costly Apparently this hotel was recently remodeled. The room was spacious and comfortable. The location was Ok with reasonable distance to shopping and entertainment areas. The hotel staff could improve by being polite and helpful especially reception. The pool area was too small and made me feel very uncomfortable. Internet access cost was very high. The gym needs remodeling and total replacement of equipment.
