convenient location, friendly staffs, low price
not really, probably no lift?
after staying in 2 more expensive hotels, I must say initially Glitz hotel was a bit of a shock when we arrived as the photos on the websites are quite different to the actual room. The room we got was fairly small, and there is no elevator in the hotel (it's a 4 story building). The breakfast provided is quite basic, compared to the big hotels it may seem limited in terms of variety but it has all the essentials and the help lady there was extremely friendly. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would consider going back again.

I like the exclusive feel of the hotel, smallish and yet feel home. You feel safe certainly with added security to your room before you go up to your floor level. It is personalised hotel, and can ask for anything you will like to get the service with attention. Each guest will feel like being treated as a VIP. Location is the best, with nightlife and SalaDaeng just around the corner. They have all enquipment inside the room you need for.
There is no passenger lift for this small boutique hotel, so it is not for any kid or elder. However, there is a tiny luggage lift, which allows your luggage to be transport to and fro the ground level. Did not see any ironboard, but what for to this leisure hotel.
arrived at midnight and greeted by a front desk lady to offer me a glass of welcome drink (it tasted good but not sure what it is). I was offered a sensored door key before you can enter the floor. This add an additional security to your room. The lobby is tiny but girlish decorated, pink and purple. The room is small but well equiped. A king size bed, safe, dvd player, and free wi-fi, what can you ask for such convenience made to your stay? A 5 minute walk to SalaDaeng BTS station, the night life is here around the hotel, with bars, stalls, restaurants in silom area, the location is certainly a plus. The breakfast is sufficient though not much of a choice but with 14 rooms in the hotel only, it is certainly more than enough for a hectic shopping day to start off. The personal service by the cheerful lady serving you the breakfast from the buffet bar really makes you feel like home, though a little overwhelming but is ok to me.
I will certainly book this hotel again if I want to get away from the commercial hotel in this buzzling city. Hope the price will maintain for a while. Highly recommended.

Chic, Modern, Great Location
I stayed at Glitz Hotel from 6th November to 12th Nov '09. It's located at the entrance of Soi Tawan, opposite Tawanna Hotel. It's almost impossible to miss it. All you have got to do is log on to their website and have a look at the artiste impression of the hotel. It somewhat looks similar.
It has really good location as it is on Surawongse Road, which is parallel to the famous Silom Road. There are many sois/streets that connects this two roads, namely Soi Patpong, Soi Thaniya and few others.
If you walk for 5 mins or so, you will reach Sala Daeng BTS (Bangkok Mass Transit System) station. Once you reach, you just have walk a further 2 mins or so, and you will reach the MRT Silom station.
The hotel has got a restaurant next to it, which opens till late at night (2am if I'm right). Good food, good ambience, good staffs.
Reception at the hotel starts with a welcome drink, followed by warm welcome by the staffs. They are extremely courteous and helpful.
The hotel does not have an elevator system but you do not really need it because it is only 4 floors high. Unless of course if you have trouble climbing stairs. They have a shaft system that helps carry your luggage upstairs but it is meant for that only.
They have 4 rooms on second floor, 5 rooms on third and 4th floors. Each floor has got a computer terminal for those who wants to surf the internet. Very good speed.
The place for breakfast is on the second floor, probably the only thing that needs improvisation. Limited choices of breakfast, thats it.
I booked the small room for 5 nights, and decided on the last night to extend an extra night. They upgraded me to their large room on my final night:)
Personally, I would look forward to staying in this hotel in the future.
Nightlife Tip : Soi Duangthawee is located about 5 mins walk away, Patpong Night Market is also about 3-4 mins walk away. Convenience store 7-11 is very near the hotel.
