A wide Room contains bathroom ,wardrobe, and refrigerator. Overlooking to the Golden mount. Quiet and clean Hotel, good resturant with breakfast included . Nice and helpful Administration. An Internet in the loby
Heater of water, Nescafe and Tea, most of the hotel people does not know English.
I appreciate the good service of agoda.com,they are franc and honiest in the internet services about the the hotel and specification and also the pricing. The location of the hotel is precise it is really too close to the place which I search for. I would like to thank agoda.com, and next time I do not hesitate to reserve Hotels through agoda.com
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The Hotel is close to the Golden Mount where every evening there is a big markat for food and clothes and games, it last after midnigt. Not far from many remarquable places like Freedom status, Giant Swing,UN bulding... From this place you can go easly to SIAM Shoping Centers 15 min by bus.

None that I can think of. Close to temples I guess.
Said it was Kho San Road, its a good 15mins away. Looks like it has not been renovated since 1960s. Carpets are poor.
Did not match the pictures. smelt
overall I was really disappointed with this hotel.

Close to a good Muay Thai gym. FAIRLY CENTRAL. rESTRAUNT FOOD WAS REASONABLE.Good air con and Tv
Dirty, old, not maintained at all, expensive slow internet, water system wasn't very good(brown water to shower in,n@ times no hot water, disturbed water flow)Lack of selection in mini bar, lack of english channels on tv laundry service too expensive
The Golden Horse Hotel is a very cheap convienient place to stay if you want to train Muay Thai@ a local gym . It has very very basic facilities but is comfortable enough for a short to medium length of stay. It's location is fairly central and is quite close to MBK centre a few good local Muay Thai gyms , Ratchadamnoen Boxing Stadium, Kao San Road and a few nice temples. It need alot of work but has plenty of potential if it was to be renovated and it's facilities apgraded.

Rooms are large and clean with bath; safety box is available for use.
A coat of paint would brighten up the hotel.
I have stayed twice in this hotel and the staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and clean with good air conditioning, a shower and a bath. The street rooms have a view of Golden Mountain. It is in a quiet neighborhood. There is a restaurant at the hotel but there are also plenty of food stalls close by, along with a 7/11. The hotel is close to the canal and buses. I have stayed in a few hotels in Bangkok and definitely will return here.
Travel tip : Catch the canal boats to go shopping- only a couple of minutes away.

Very clean rooms, professional and helpful staff, value for money.
A bit quiet at night, women walking alone should be cautious.
Nice little hotel off Lan Luang road that's quiet but excellent in every way. Its good value for money for a 3 star, staff were polite, helpful and very friendly. Rooms were big and clean, shower was powerful. All in all, I loved this place!
Travel tip : Please be careful at night as this road is a bit quiet.

Air-conditioner efficient and quiet, staff friendly and helpful. I stayed in three different Bangkok hotels during my trip and this was the pick of them. Would definitely use only this one next time.
Travel tip : The canal boat for 10 baht is a real bargain.

I would not recommend this for honeymooning couples. It is not a romantic place. The room was okay but the corridors and stair areas are very dated.

I'm usually making reservation in this hotel as second option for transit through Bangkok. So if I'm tired to look for another hotel - I'm making reservation there - just in case.

nice little hotel but a bit hard to find. it's kind of in a remote neighbourhood so I had to walk up and down the street a couple of times to find it. doesn't look all that spectacular from the outside but the rooms are clean and the staff is very friendly. restaurant is amazing and decently priced. it's not in the city center but if you walk around for 15 mins you'll run into a couple of nice temples and the big tourist attractions are maybe 30 mins on foot. I must add that I'm writing this review 2 years after I stayed there so my memory is a bit hazy.
