Breakfast, excellent location in Chinatown, Very courteous and welcoming staff especially fron the coffeehouse.

Front desk can be more friendly and welcoming. mI have been a guest at your hotel for more than 10 years and noticed that the front office staff is a bit unwelcoming

I like the Grand China Princess because the rooms, breakfast and location in the heart of Chinatown are famtastic. Also it is reasonably priced and very clean. There is nice seafood and Chinese restaurants nearby and it is quite near to places like MBK, Siam Centre and Pratunam. However, the front desk staff could learn a little from your former Front Office Manager, Ms Thanakon.

Shopping Tip : There is a lane across the road from the hotel that serves like a market. It has great Chinese pickles.

Tiny pool ,

The location of this hotel is good, right in china town , the room was ok , not amazing , but the view was fantastic , and we had a balcony . The breakfast buffet was excellent , Internet was expensive , no free wifi .Compared to other hotels the room was not so good , but the location is really right in the centre of china town . I would stay again but only short stay , the poool is tiny and seriously needs upgrading .

Travel tip : There is a cheap food place on the 2nx floor of the hotel , inside the mall , great food and cheap , also cheap masssage ANd a fortune teller downstairs

Perfect location in China Town; great service, friendly staff; great breakfast

I think the rooms need renovation, specially the bathroom....anyhow great place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay in Grand China Princess hotel, the staff and services were perfect. The location of the hotel in the middle of China Town is perfect, you just walk out the hotel and you are in the centre of happening. It is a little bit more far from the subway but still in walking distance. The view from the window was not that interesting but everybody who desides to stay in China Town should count on that...you see the real life of the city, no nice and perfect views. We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel, the only issue we had was the bathroom anyhow I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

great service and friendly, very helpful staff good location in the city great breakfast in choice and quality good facilities in/around hotel

a little expensive for what you get at times the hotel is getting a bit old and some parts are in need of renovation, like the bathrooms! the 'rooftop-pool' is is more like a rooftop bathtub, really, it's small, very much so!

The Princess is a great hotel, with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff and great service, great breakfast and some good and handy facilities like a UPS office on the ground floor, a beautiful massage spa and other good features. It's surroundings are ok with good access to central Bangkok. The upper floors provide great views of the entire city. The room I stayed at was decent and clean with a balcony and awesome vies of the city, however, the bathroom was not up to scratch, to say the least...Some dirty and rusty fittings and mould in the gaps between the tiles is not what I expected for a hotel in that price range in Asia! But all in all it was a very positive experience to stay at THE PRINCESS and the bathroom was the only real issue I had there and, who knows, since I have only seen one room so far, maybe it was just the unlucky one with the grungy bathroom, you just never know! otherwise it is a recommendable hotel!

Buffet Breakfast was excellent, loved the eggs chef - he'd cook them how ever you wanted, and he made pancakes. Big tv in dining room with the news on, was good to be able to catch the news from home at that time.

Our room had twin beds, not sure why as we booked a double, so would have much prefered a king size bed.

The room was spacious. We had a view out over the rooftops of the Chinatown below, which was nice. The bathroom was ok, shower over the bath, could have been a bit more modern but for the price was reasonable. It was clean and there was plenty of space for hanging up clothes etc. Air conditioning worked. Dont get sucked in by the transport touts from outside. It nice to just walk around chinatown in the evening to see all the seafood bbq stalls.

Restaurant Tip : It nice to just walk around chinatown in the evening to see all the seafood bbq stalls. You might also see an elephant walking around the streets!

Excellent rooms Great Service Nice market nearby

No shops to speak of except gold shops Breakfast was catered mainly for the Asian market

This was a very nice hotel in Chinatown but a bit out of the main areas. There was a market nearby but no shops to speak of except gold shops. Breakfast was OK but it was catered mainly for the Asian taste rather than European.

Restaurant Tip : There is a little restaurant in the lobby (not the bakery one) don't go there it's very dirty and the food is bad.

Fantastic rooms with city views, great rooftop pool, excellent location, attentive staff and the best breakfast buffet in Thailand!

Some of the bar pricing was like the top floor revolving restaurant (sky high).

From check in to check out the staff were accommodating; the room we had was brilliant: large with panoramic city views (and a comfy bed). Included breakfast rivaled any I've had worldwide and the location is also fantastic in the middle of Chinatown. Highly recommended - especially for the price!

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : You are in Chinatown!

-central positioning. -good service. -fun shopping mall in the first 3 floors.

-no heat in the rooms (only cooling so when the temp outside dropped to 20 you couldn't get it to 24!) -10 minute walk to the river. -sky train is a long walk away.

We found that the food in the restaurant was excellent value for money. Prompt, tasty, and reasonably priced. We employed room service several times and it was prompt and of reasonable quality. Service was courteous, prompt, and friendly. The river access point was a 10-minute walk. There were many ATM's within easy walking distance, and the China town district is on your doorstep. The pool on the roof was fun but small. Rooms were more than spacious enough for our purposes. If you wanted to save a bit of money on food the mini-shopping mall in the 2nd and 3rd floors offered massages, goods of all kind, food, and clothing services at reasonable prices.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Beware the tuk-tuk scam! ALWAYS use a traditional cab - cheaper and air-conditioned.

Spacious and clean rooms, nice rooftop swimming pool.

Location for those with interests away from the Sukhumvit part of Bangkok.

This was my first visit to Bangkok and I was very surprised that this small hotel had such nice accommodations. My wife and I had a large and comfortable room which far exceeded our expectations for the price paid (we are used to Hong Kong hotels with high prices for small rooms). We only stayed one night because we were going to Chiang Mai, but we would not hesitate to visit this hotel if we return to Bangkok.

location's nice.

This is a typical touristy hotel in the China Town section of Bangkok. Easily commutable to good shopping. The breakfast buffet in the morning is decent. They were particularly accommodating with the unusual circumstance of the airport being shut down for a week and went out of the way to cater to their guests to make such an inconvenience as comfortable as possible.

Great value. Good location. Clean, spacious rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Good location in Chinatown. Very clean, smart hotel with excellent service. Extremely good value for money. I stayed here for 2 nights, 1 night either side of a 3 week holiday in Thailand.

Nightlife Tip : For shopping and nightlife go to pat pong (i think thats how its said), excellent night life. Don't pay more than 150 baht in a tuk-tuk from china town.

Large and comfortable room with a great view, if only it rotated like the restaurant on the 25th floor does. room service was good and prompt at all hours, and the buffet breakfast was large and varied. The hotel is well positioned for the markets that flood the back streets and alleys, streets of fabrics and silks, gold shops and plenty of food nearby.
