It is my first time stay at Grand Diamond and was very pleased with the location with close proximity to the fashion mall. Lots of shops and eateries around the hotel. In fact,I am booking a room at your hotel for my brother who will be visiting Bangkok on 16 Apr to 19 April 2012.

Hotel is at the wholesale area and next to platinum mall so it is convenient for wholesale shoppers.
Some night activities like night stalls and food vendors nearby. Food courts closes abt 7 which is considered early so night hawkers n a nearby restaurant are the only choices when hungry. No massage parlour around hotel area except for the hotel massage centre which costs double of those shops along alleys. Hotel rate is on the high side amongst hotels in that area.
Restaurant Tip:
There's room service at reasonable price if you dun intend to eat out.

It is the second time we have stayed in this Hotel. It is convenient for shopping, both day and night and there are a lot of places to go for coffee or a meal.

We were expecting more from this hotel, it is in great need of renovation. The rooms and furniture are very old and tired. The carpet had many stains on it. It has a kitchen but it's a bit pointless really when there are no dishes, pans or cutlery, just empty cupboards and drawers. Are we expected to bring our own in our suitcase? The breakfast wasn't that great either, not much choice really in hot foods for Westerners, and same same every day. We have certainly had better value for our money at other close-by hotels. We won't be staying here again, it's very overpriced for what they provide.

this hotel is located right in the center of bangkok's main downtown shopping precinct.
if you want to walk to everywhere or travel short distances by tuk tuk because you are carrying shopping bags, then look no further.
easy access to all the big malls & walking distance to central world, sky walk & the bts sky train system.
then its shop shop shop with new malls being erected in this area daily.
the new palidium centre, platinum mall, grand diamond's new shopping mall, pantip plaza are all within 200 meters of your doorstep.
