The hotel is far from skytrain.
heavy traffic that cab charge high price from airport.

Great location
fantastic place for shopping

Hotel rooms were not very spacious for deluxe. but appreciated the living room and the plasma TV.
felt that space was quite constraint for walking around though. Carpets were not new, felt a little old. Breakfast spread was great.

I like our hotel's location. Beds were comfortable.
However, the carpet is old and has a musty smell. The view was panaromic given we were situated on the 26th floor.
The water provided by the hotel tasted weird, a little salty for our taste.
But we enjoyed good service from the hotel staff.

The shopping inside the hotel is better than platinum

Nice room but a funny smell when enters. Cooking equipment and micro oven is there. Better to have fork and spoon inside so can eat with proper tools after cooking. Missing bath room robe when enter the room.

the location is really good, as it is just beside platinum mall. the reception staff are very friendly & also recommended places for us to go sight-seeing. buffet breakfast has sufficient spread and there is a in-house spa with friendly therapists, good for those tired legs after a whole day of shopping. room is spacious & comfortable.

very near the shoppin mall just beside the Platinum mall which is an airconditioned whole sale shopping and opposite the watergate amari and BIYOKE SKY

i always book this hotel whenever i go to bangkok because of the very good location and the price is good and also the service is very good.
Shopping Tip:
of course if you stay in this hotel it's very convenient to shop at the platinum mall which is a 6 storey building of clothes and the 6th floor is the food court, so you will have a very pleasant time to shop and eat and you can go back to the hotel which is just a few steps away to unload your wares.opposite is another whole sale market of clothes and street food,so no need to go far to enjoy what bangkok has to offer for shopping.

The best thing abt this hotel is its location. Just beside platinum mall, u can always shop & offload your purchases back in hotel before continuing round 2 etc. Recep staff are friendly & suggested some sight-seeing itinerary. In house spa is so so, can give it a miss, but its price is v affordable.

the stay was pleasent. rooms were clean and good location.
need to improve on the housekeeping. each suite was suppose to received a plate of fruits but we never received at all. informed the reception staff and they reply they will check with the housekeeping section. no follow up or reply to me for my query.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
There is a travel agency MS & C Transport Service at Grand Diamond Plaza that offer resonable price for day tour and transfer service.

the location is great, walk-able distance to all the main places! the furthest is mbk but its just like 20mins away. cons: rooms are old, bad lighting. and the lobby! was so disappointed after the renovation. it dont seems like a lobby at all. husband was really disappointed and he commented that he wont wanna stay in the same hotel again. but on the other hand, i dont mind at all. but the best point is the location!
