Great location but average service & standard room

1. The hotel's location is great, in terms of accessibility to malls, etc!
2. On hotel staff service standard (ie. at the reservations counter) - this was average. The staff appeared not being able to cope with more than 3 guests at any one time (guests were either trying to check-in or asking queries) despite the fact that they had an average of 3-4 staff on duty.
3. Accommodation room was an ok size. But not much flexibility in terms of late check-out.
4. I must say the breakfast buffet spread at Ploy was commendable! Good spread of halal & non-halal food, with variety of local stuff.
I would recommend a stay at this hotel!

Great location but heavy traffic.

Wide spread of b/fast choices, rooms abit old but spacious.
Gd make-up room service, nice & helpful hotel staff. Overall, thumbs up.

Great location but with good size for family

like that they have got added mircowave and household size fridge whereby we have no worries onto taking care of how to handle take-away food.
Shopping Tip:
Great location as wholesale centres were all ard the area.
Bad thing is if were travelling alone, not advisable as room is big n might feel slight cold.

We loved this boutique hotel, entrance lively, surrounding shops and malls useful, staff very helpful, breakfast staff exceptional, clean, accommodating, will stay again. good value.
Shopping Tip:
superb local to fashion mall, Pratnip, SkyC,
Siam Square. A shopping paradise location

Best location for shopaholics

Well we stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and i must say it is the best place to stay if you are shopaholic. Platinum mall at one side , pantic plaza on the other and local market right across the road.But i did not find this hotel a 4 star.The rooms desperately need a facelift.Old interiors and lifts too slow.The staff was very helpful,Helpdesk,bell boys and the guard on the gate all were having nice smiles on their faces,The food ( room service ) was quite cheap and the rooms were equipped with microwaves and minibar was also well stocked.The swimming pool was small and the breakfast was not that lavish but it had something for everyone and was quite good.All in all i would say if you are spending this much then you can find a better hotel nearby like amari , baiyoke sky etc.
Shopping Tip:
Try the shops in the hotel itself.They were quite cheap and let you try the clothes also.

Great hotel with excellent location

I stay there with my girl friends for bbk shopping trip. Just cross a small road & platinum mall is at your reach. We are able to shop for many clothings & went back to hotel every few hours once the shopping bags get too heavy.
There's a massage in the hotel, for $16 SG, we get an hour of Thai massage. Best part it opens till 1am, so we always go there at nite. It's very safe as managed by hotel , great for travelers without man companion.
Breakfast spread was gd, wide range of varieties .
Hotel Feature Tip:
You can take the airport train for city line & walk to hotel. Take around 15mins from train to hotel, however only if you are lightly packed. As the route are walking past shop houses & narrow roads, not convenient if travelling with big luggage

The diamond suites is affordable and great for travelers above 2 pax. 3 guys within a room is still spacious, along with the powerful air conditioning and impeccable housekeeping. Loved the 24 hr room service which offers a huge variety of items, however food is nothing to shout about except to satisfy hunger pangs.
The location is great, rooms are not exactly new but still acceptable. Guess the location made up for any shortcomings of the hotel. The lifts however were really packed and slow.

Room and service are simple but elevator too old and broken elevator's door didn't open me and my kid so scaried and keycard not response to use in elevator
