Decent hotel for a reasonable price

location was good as it was near a couple of eateries and shopping malls. however, journey to the nearest train station was about 15 - 20 mins. for tech geeks, there is a computer mall nearby for you to shop till your hearts content.

very near with platinum wholesale shopping mall, beside this you can walk around 15min to central world shopping mall. around hotel got a lot massage shop and saloon and enjoy it.

Our group consists of 14 people (all ladies). We all enjoyed our stay in Grand Diamond Hotel. Our main purpose on this trip is shopping. The Hotel location meet our purposes. We all shop till we drop and broke. We spent our monies and the result we experienced overweight on our trip back home.
Shopping Tip:
Since the area is very crowded, people who shop in this area should be really careful. One friend from our group enxperienced the pick pocket. Her bag was cut with knife and her wallet was taken which consists of money and credit cards.

Good location but old rooms
The location is great and there is a Starbucks right below at the lobby

It is within walking proximity to platinum, ps tip, big c and many other shopping centers but the rooms are a little old.

You can unload your shopping first and continue shopping!

this is our first time staying at grand diamond hotel. the service staff was nice and friendly. we did not wait long for our check in. the location was excellent, it is just beside the platinum shopping mall and opposite is the platunam wholesale centre. the hotel room is big and comfortable but the aircon quite noisy so hopefully the aircon will be serviced the next time i go. we will recommend this hotel to our friends.

I stay in this hotel every month, coz im doing fashion online blog i need go to bkk for taking stock, this hotel is near for the wholesale center.
Shopping Tip:
No nite life in near by place, just only fashion wholesale center & cross the road is pratunam market very famouns morning market in bkk too...
