the hotel is a little outdated and is in need of refurbishing. the breakfast wasnt the best as it tasted like it had been sitting out for ages. there was good variety but it just didnt look appealing. the hotel staff were really friendly and helpful as were the concierge. the rooms were big enough and the bed was comfy. overall all the hotel was good but not great. it is really close to markets and the shopping centres.

Luxury for the end of our vacation!
Great value luxury hotel: pools, breakfast etc. Room was fabulous!!

Nothing wrong could be said, it was really good!! The swimming pools cooled tired bodies and nearby shopping and attractions were right nearby. Breakfast was amazing and well worth the inclusion in the room rate. Hail your own taxis and tuk-tuks (hotel will charge much more) and know local prices more or less, speak a little Thai and you won't get ripped off. Always smile and don't lose your cool Westerners too!
Shopping Tip:
Learn some basic Thai and SMILE!! Be prepared to make a walk when you negotiate.

The hotel is absolutely fabulous, the room comfortable and nicely air conditioned, the breakfast amazing, a huge choice of food, the swimming pool lovely and the hotel staff very helpful and friendly.

it is supposed to be near all the shopping area. but it was too busy for our taste and not so close to the shopping site. we prefer a bit more peaceful location with better service. people were everywhere!

Dowtown & right at the doorstep of all the major Shopping Malls

Staff are always friendly and room are dated but spacious and clean. I stay here every time I visit Bangkok and have always had a great stay

Walk to and from Central World when peak hour traffic as a Taxi or Tuk Tuk will take forever
