Stayed for 5 nights, the room was clean and room service was fast. My level there were only 6 rooms and seemed like the room service staffs were always on stand-by!!! My 3rd night there was a blackout for almost 7hrs.

hotel is surrounded by shopping facilities. pantip & platinum mall on its left and right. pratunam market in front and central world behind. fast food , street food all within easy reach on foot. great wan tan mee and pork leg across the road on soi 19. snacks in front of hotel and foodcourt on the top floor of platinum mall.
buffet breakfast was fabulous spread of easily 30 varieties of both halal and non halal section.
front desk and bell hop can all converse in english.
definitely will return to this hotel on next visit.

Great location and room were really big. Good for family of 3 -5 person to stay. But too bad there was a power failure on the 2nd day of my stay . Whole hotel power totally out including restaurant,no aircon, no heater etc. They should have a power back up. Overall stay was alright.
Travel tip:
Good for person that want good location and big rooms.

everything under your nose from starbuckzs to shooping areas.

Was a pleasant suprise withh the cake and fruit platter which was given to us. The bed was also decorated with 2 lovely swans and rose petals.
Shopping Tip:
Your are juz smacked at the heart of the city to all shopping venues!!

The furniture was old and the shower in our room is faulty as well.
The only good points is the location other than that all needs improvement.

my stay at grand diamond suites pratunam hotel was really great, i loved it!the location was excellent for shopping and eating.i was pleasantly surprised ,as i travel alot,that the hotel food 24 hr service was really delicious and not expensive. a first for me as i usually don't like hotel food!! the suite was well appointed and i appreciated the extra space etc that the suite offered.i also loved their breakfast,very well organized & food great.the room was well priced and i will definitely stay here again.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Definitely try the Thai Food at the Hotel Restaurant or for Room Service , absolutely Delicious and not expensive. I was impressed.

good location but very small and chaotic lobby
location is good. There are restaurants nearby, 7-11, starbucks at the lobby and mall.

the lobby is very small with a lot of things going on. there are several stalls selling inside and outside the hotel which brings a lot of movement and people. we requested for a room with 2 beds but it was not available when we arrived. the staff promised to move us to a room with 2 beds but it never happened even after several calls and follow ups.
staff cant speak english well and the receptionists are not friendly. the concierge and bellboys were great and helpful.
room is big enough .
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Try going to the floating market. It's a different experience. You can even buy and eat hot noodles while your boat goes around . dont miss the elephant ride.
If u are planning to go out of town, HuaHIn is a good choice. On the way, pass by the Khao luang cave where there are giant buddhas inside. Dont forget to visit the Huahin Vineyard. It's worth the drive. Food is reasonably priced for such a nice ambiance. They also have an elephant ride inside the vineyard. Can u find that elsewhere?

the power tripped for 3 hours and nobody informed us about it. location was excellent. room was spacious, clean and comfy. breakfast variety was good, but cant say the same for the quality.
