Great stay especially it have recently upgraded it hotel and lobby. I have no worried if my girl went shopping alone at next door building or even at pratunam which is a street across the hotel.Along the roadside foods stall you must try the deep fried chicken wings and grill fish. It take about fifteen min walk from hotel to four face buddha. Nite fall not to worry and can have your happy hour at central world which is 8 min walk from hotel.
Wholesales price shopping at Pratunam jus across the street from hotel.Will look forward to have my stay there again in my next visit.
Travel tip:
Pratunam wholesales market a place to shop if you are looking for bargain price . MBK may good to shop but not place for bargain and staff not friendly if ask for bargain. Weekend market at chatuchak a must to go and must try the food stall yammy noodle.

the hotel room we stayed in was the two-bedroom suite, which was very spacious for our three night stay there. as we had moved on from pattaya, it was good to get more space in bangkok. we were located just beside platinum mall, where all the wholesale merchandise can be purchased. the room service was really good authentic thai food, with big portions. i recommend sharing if you do order. the bathtubs in the room overlooked the city view on our 23rd storey room.

situated near all major malls (platinum mall, central world, siam, mbk, etc!) and walking is possible to most locations if one is not lazy! located right beside platinum mall is the greatest plus point! aft an entire day of shopping, knowing that your hotel room is less than 100m away / 5mins away is comforting! :)

Greeted with friendly hotel staff at the lobby. Reception at lobby shared with the shopping centre. Starbucks at the lobby and 24-hr mcD is just stones away. Check in & check out was prompt. Hotel room completes with necessary things like fridge and kettle, kitchen sink separating the bedroom and lounge area. Toilet is small and the room tends to be dark even during the day. Nearest BTS station 15-20 mins walk for me would be chidlom, walking pass big C supermarket. Overall would recommend this hotel to people who loves to shop at platinum. Consider also arnoma hotel which is nearer to BTS.

Just One Minute to Platinium Fashion Mall
It is very close to Platinium Fashion Mall

We are reaching the hotel around 9AM @ 05th March 2011. It is suprising as the rooms are ready for us. After lunch, we went down to Platinium Fashion Mall. It is only one minutes! Platinium Fashion Mall is a wholesales market. You can find a lot nice shirts and dress over there. We will definately stay there again.
Shopping Tip:
Platinium fashion mall just one minute away from hotel. It is a whole sale market. You can easiy find dress, shirts, pants and t-shirt over there at a very cheap price. If you buy more than three pieces, you can even ask for a whole sale price.
