overall an excellent hotel. staff service was polite, efficient and quick. the place was nicely maintained and well-decorated. the rooms were comfortable and there was warm water in the bath. the air-cons were working great and there was a wide selection of movies on television.

Always bargain!

there is a change in the hotel lobby layout which my husband and i don't quite like is that they had changed it to a lot of shops, and it doesn't give an exquisite feeling of staying in a hotel. but i still like the room and breakfast. this is my 4th stay.

The hotel location was good, near wholesale market and most of to shopping mall, comfortable hotel and service was good. Starbucks is juz at the lobby and 24-hr MacDonald in walking distance, we have a wonderful stay at this hotel.

have stayed the same hotel for few times, the only reason to keep me going back was mainly the hotel location and big room. The receptionists attitude are never good, and one of the bellman was being rude when we did not tip! and they should provide free wifi, at least at the lobby. Now even starbucks have to pay THB150 for 1 hour wifi usage..
Restaurant Tip:
walk over to Central World for good restaurants

A very good hotel with very good lokation
Nice personal good clean room walking distans to MBK great breakfast

placed in the very center of the shopping district of bkk. you can walk to almost everythin you need. veery friendly staf and very good breakfast. the junior suiet 45 squer meters are exelent. the hotel has now completed their renovation. this is our 4:th stay here and there is going to be more.

Wow its very luxury hotel, and best location over there. i will go back to bangkok quarterly, and will comes back to Grand Diamond, so hommy....
Shopping Tip:
U can turn back after tired carry your handbag after shopping, cause this hotel near frm Platinum mall, kroongkung, pratunam area

great location, in the shopping belt, great breakfast

the hotel was in a great location, right beside platinum mall. and also the breakfast spread was good, with japanese, noodles section etc. however the staff there weren't too friendly and they didn't exactly offer great assistance. two of the receptionist staff when asked regarding directions were not very willing to guide us. also, there isn't free wifi in the hotel, anywhere, including the lobby. i thought at this day and age, internet access should come cheap but rather they were charging approx 5 SGD for 30 mins of usage, furthermore it was supposedly a 4 star accommodation. even my friends who were staying at samran place had free wifi access in their rooms.

the room we stayed in was very nice the breakfast was very good as there was a lot of choice hot and cold food the room was very clean even though we were on the 20th floor you could still here the traffic below as the windows were single glazed but not to bad at night the hotel is ideal for shopping
Travel tip:
there are no bars near this hotel at all there are two good restaurants by the river other than these two to eat you would need to go in the large shops near the hotel the eating areas are on the top floors there is lots of choice but in most cases you need to buy a voucher for your meal they dont take money
