This hotel is very accessible, it is at the main road and very near to the shopping centre. there is also a new shopping centre connected to this hotel; with shops and staarbucks right at the lobby of the hotel. because of this, the lobby can be quite noisy too.

The junior suite is pretty big with a living room equipped with a stove and kitchen sink. Room layout is kind of awkward, The dressing table mirror is facing the bed which is against chinese superstition. but I like the view from 25th floor overseeing the Bangkok skyline.

Nice rooms in great shopping area
Located in the center of a wide shopping area, the Grand Diamond offers very comfortable suites with all expected amenities. Breakfast buffet is fantastic. Staff is very courteous and helpful.

The area of "Pratunam" in Bangkok is well known for its fantastic shopping opportunities, be it for fashion, clothing or electronics.
The Grand Diamond is very conveniently located just at the center of it all. To stay there makes it very easy to shop all day and come back in between to drop your purchases in the room. There are also some very nice restaurants within walking distance and a few good massage parlours.
Shopping Tip:
Grand Diamond is wonderfully located just between the Platinum Fashion Mall and the "Panthip Plaza" (IT-Shopping mall).

I stayed for 1 night with my husband and 7 year old daughter. The lobby is very small and crowded with people. As we went to the room, the equipment is quite old. The elevator was old too. Bed are not comfortable at all. The only positive thing is that the room is spacious.
Travel tip:
If you like to buy cheap clothing, probably it is good hotel because it is next to Platinum Mall(wholesale fashion). Also many street food vendors around the hotel area.

The location of the hotel was great, especially for shoppers who like to frequent Platinum mall, but other than that, it take about a 15-20 min walk to Siam Paragon. It's also very hard to access by taxi because of the jams everyday. The location is quite far away from the BTS, so the best form of transport will still be taxi.
They are also upgrading the hotel, and building a shopping arcade, so there's some construction going on, the shops in the arcade are also not fully opened. Many taxi drivers are also unsure of the location of the hotel, so the best identifier would be Platinum mall.
The room service was good, ordered quite a few times and I loved the selection of food. Housekeeping was very good as well, they always kept the area in tip top condition. There's not much of a view, except for the daily jams.
I also loved the fact that there was a separate living room, with a separate TV in the living room, and the availability of a kitchen sink, and microwave.

We stay in the hotel for 2 nights, the location is very convient. Just next to Platimum mall, there is a Starbuck just next to the lobby.
Shopping Tip:
You can get cheap and good clothing at Platimun Mall. The best place to shop at.

Great location but bad service attitude

Hotel under renovation during my stay,dusty n dirty. Reception service very bad, no smile and worse of all still show attitude. I chosen this hotel because of location is good and there are suite rooms but after all experience I will not stay in this hotel again, really piss off by their service level.
