I was quite pleased overall and would surely stay again.
Fine for families, or a romantic getaway. Sightseeing readily at hand with the fine assistance of the hotel tourist desk. Very convenient for transport, skytrain, and taxi. Plenty of restaurants for european food. The hotel's thai masage and spa are recommended -- try the new 'fish' spa!

Despite its four stars, this hotel starts to be aged. The facility is OK but nothing exceptionnal. Located in a busy district, it is close to Zen plaza but away from 10 to 15 min walking distance with BTS station.
Unfortunately, when staying at this hotel, we have been annoyed by maintenance noise (extension of the hotel with the construction of a plaza access).
The dining room has a small capacity for hosting during breakfast, so there is some queue in the morning.
The swimming pool is too exposed to the view from the dining room (8th floor).

Robinsons holiday.
We liked every aspect of this hotel, would use again, staff were superb.

First time in Bangkok and first time in this hotel, we found everything was more than good, in relation to the staff and the food, they were excellent. A special thanks to Mr Pat the hotel driver, who drove us around the sites of Bangkok and back and to the airport. We would have no hesitation in using this hotel again. For anyone who likes shopping, there is a mall next door with over 200 shops.
Many thanks to all the staff at Grand Diamond.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Always know what your taxi is going to cost before you go.

I think this is the 3rd time i'm staying in this hotel and i think i will stay there again in the near future. It is very convenient to travel around in the city and many shopping centres within walking distance. Many good foods nearby if you know where to find it.
