Check in was difficult. A receptionist was making things more complicated. She refused to let us check in until 2pm. Far from the famous Thai smile and hospitality she was rude.
Our stay was pleasant because we didn't had to deal with the reception desk and the house keeping were kind and did good job. The room was cozy and the pool was very relaxing. I felt bit wierd to walk half naked through the Shark fin restaurant everytime to get to the pool.

The location of the hotel is fantastic - it's right next to the Platinum Fashion Mall, and walking distance to the Central World area. The staff is generally friendly, and massage service is quite good.
The only thing to note is that if you are at the hotel and eat at the Chinese restaurant (which is the same seating area as the hotel restaurant), you can't charge to the room (I found that through the hard way). Also, if you want to pay by credit card there, the minimum expenditure.
Shopping Tip:
Platinum Fashion Mall, Central World, Siam Paragon, roadside stalls and MBK.

Nice location near to all main shopping malls
Can avoid traffic jams because this hotel is in the middle of all shopping areas don't have to use public transport

Suites are well maintained but in the kitchen they have not provided any utensils so its useless. Staff is very nice and helpful.
Shopping Tip:
Hotel itself has shopping centre and surrounded by all shopping malls. It is good to be in this hotel so that you can avoid travelling in public transport and get stuck in traffic jams which are common in Bangkok

Lovely hotel and service with a smile & location
hotel is perfectly located for shopping holidays, and the value is very good
